What's new

Russia / Ukraine thread

The only people talking about nukes is the West.

Why is this not disregarded as the rest of the shit they've peddled over the last 2-3-4-5 decades?

Especially in the last --gasp-- 3 years.

Not all would hit, though.
Defense systems set up to intercept incoming, yes?

I heard we figured they would target our silos so we set up to intercept there as escalation leads to nukes.
Russia, however, doesn't see it as escalation to nukes and more like nukes fly at once, so they assume their silos would be empty by the time ours got there and therefore want to intercept above their population centers. All missiles fly and their tanks will roll into radiated places.

If you truly worry about where to go I suggest finding somewhere underground. Bring your guns incase others get there first and won't let you in or others get there after you and demand to be let in. ;)
Holy flashback batman! I remember me and friends talking and planning about what to do when the nukes came back in the 80's. Only we did it face to face because there was no internets back then. Full on nuke war never did happen back then either

This^^^. I think my response was if we see them I’m grabbing a bottle of dads scotch. :lmao:

Except Putin since at least 2007...
He has been threatening to use nukes over Ukraine since at least 2014.

Aaron Z

No, he hasn't you fucktard.

Go ahead, and quote where he said that.

I dare you. Trust me on this, you're a little slow, and will be schooled.

As mentioned many times, people don't pay attention unless it's in little bits and bites when it gets too complicated.

When all the west denies we have a problem. Russia as with the western do not reveal sources. But it is reported that theres been movement of nuclear waster from a few power plants. Propaganda? Perhaps but what if its true? This map shows where the fall out form the crap will fall. Western Ukraine and Europe. Seems like there would be a tiny bit of concern. Nope just keep your lines open Russia.

WTF is this bullshit?

Get Valentina back on the wire, you suck.

EU will provide 18B in 2023. While Europe freezes and runs out of jobs and Ukraine isnt a EU member. Im sure there will be some unrest on this.

According to Ursula von der Leyen, the EU aims to contribute with €1.5 billion a month, for a total of €18 billion in 2023. The Commission president did not unveil further details and said work on the future package was still in early stages.

potatus is saying rooski nukes in ukr is 'guaranteed armageddon'
back from the previous announcement of 'we will not intervene'

so you know, tomorrow it'll be 'putin took all the icecream where's my buddy that runs the prostitute island?'
Meanwhile, Russia's defense minister has requested two calls with us within the past days. That's after the two sides haven't talked since the invasion began. Russia saying Ukraine is gonna unleash a dirty bomb on their own territory. Meanwhile we have the 101st Airborne doing drills a couple of miles from the Ukraine border giving interviews about how they're ready to go into Ukraine "tonight".

It's heating up FAST. That's without even going into Iranian involvement and whatever the fuck China might have planned in Taiwan.

We're gonna have to dodge a lot of bullets in the coming days, weeks, and months to avoid WW3 and even if we do, we're squarely in the Cold War 2.0, a two fronted one this time.

Cold War 1.0 was a two front war, China just didn't have the power they do now. Only thing China could do the first one was throw lots and lots of resources at it, and all they had for resources was man power. Look at how they intervened in the Korean War.

Wow, what a fucking surprise. 1991 to now. Can't have countries who built themselves up to be successful without them paying a cut to the World Mob, huh?

:homer:

101st has been in Romania since June. 82 airborne left and the 101st came in standard rotation. Not like wow they just appeared as the press states.

In 2001 the last nuk left Ukraine under the Lisbon Protocol. How much nuclear waste does Ukraine have? Reports are 100K tons. Seems like the Defense Secretary from UK left to talk to the US defense Secretary today. Did Russia uncover some dirty deeds? Or more plotting to be done? Someone needs to put the brakes on quickly and announce so.

Rumors from 2 months ago is that the inspectors were going to find enriched materiel conducive to making a bomb. Of course, if found, the Russians put it there.

It's why the international inspectors were stopped over and over again. There's video of this in this thread.

And why that station was shelled by the UKR. (allegedly)

Biden is involved (allegedly).

I think if the nuks were left they would have been sold on the black market. Either we would have been nuked or some other country with retaliations coming. Biden's son would have sold a few for big guy.

Are you paying any attention at all?
Not really, just checking this thread and the occasional major media. Seems like Russia is still consolidating around the breakaway regions and essentially just pestering main body Ukraine until they end their relentless pursuit

I think Vlad got what he wanted, now he has just got to keep it.

Which is why I don't see this escalating significantly, or at all, anytime soon or ever.

25 years later Armenians suffered massively, again....and the world shrugged. Meh, whatever

But at what price? His country is now isolated to a large degree, with no choice than to be China's b$#%.

When they need to beg Iran for fairly crude drones, you know their economy/manufacturing is in bad shape.

Russia hasn't been able to manufacture anything worth a damn in decades. Most of the "high tech" stuff has been bought or stolen and they can
reproduce it in ones and twos.
