ooh and you may want to dig into your steering system before adding a quickener, theres a change your box is the choke point so turning fast is going to increase the lag.

I read the info on the old site and I am not convinced it will work well. I am going to look into upgrading the steering box and pump first.
I mounted an AntiRock sway bar in the rear of the race truck. This should help in the turns.

Slapped on a set of LCE headers today. I still need to put the air injection block plates on and extend the O2 sensor wires.
The primary fuel pump was making a lot of noise. I decide to swap out the pump and filter for fresh ones. While dissembling the old unit I found some plastic in the pump inlet.
Took the truck out to shake down the sway bar and new headers. The truck felt great in the turns at speed and the headers are real nice.
Took the truck out for a shake down run before the Visions race.

Great race at Visions 2022! No issues with the truck during practice, qualifying or the main. It was super hot and dusty all weekend but overall a great time.
