Cool we should be down to pit again too assuming we come. We need to get you to the finish this year!!

Yes sir, we are planning on doing a lot of pre-running at KOH 2023.

The 2023 U4 race schedule has been announced. Here is a list of the events we will be racing.

KOH, California
YORR, Montana
Visions, Oklahoma
Disney, Oklahoma
Finals, Arizona

Why is Mick co-driving instead of racing?

What’s your thoughts on the new Ultra4 schedule?

I am not sure, he didn't race last year either, he co-drove in the UTV race and helped in the pits.

I wish they would have kept Sturgis and Moab but other than that it looks like a good season.
Ah gotcha. I met/camped next to him and his family at the Tennessee race but didn’t realize he didn’t race Hammers.

I was surprised by the races they dropped (Sturgis and Moab) while keeping places like Rush.

Great race! We got to Disney, did some day time and night time prerunning. The next day was qualifying in the morning and the 4600 race in the afternoon. Qualifying was uneventful, I was first off the line and back to camp to prep for the main. I got the truck staged in the back of the pack where we qualified. I worked my way to the start line and 3, 2, 1 go! I got about half way through the course and cut a tire, I drove on the flat for a while till I reached a flat spot to do the tire change. I got the tire changed and was back on course. At some point coming back towards the start/ finish I cut another tire so I rolled into the hot pit for another tire change. Got back on course with a fresh used Craigslist KM2 with no beadlock. Headed into the Little Blue obstacle I rolled the truck on a drop off section. The truck went over on the driver's side, the roof and then settled on the passenger side. U4 recovery got me winched back over and off I went again. Coming back across the river towards the start finish I lost steering. I pulled off and found a missing bolt for the driver's side TIE rod to steering arm, I grabbed a spare from the truck, got it in and headed out again. No other issued till the last lap where I got stuck in the bottom of Little Blue. Once again U4 recovery got me winched out and on my way back to the start/ finish for the checkered flag. Overall a great race at a great location.

this was my second favorite maybe favorite race to watch this year, mainly because i have been to disney a couple times and i know what it takes to do the trails you guys had to do during the race, so awesome to watch. and over all i think it had a great mix rocks to speed to ledges and such. so cool... loved seeing your truck out there too by the way....

That’s exactly why I always liked when Ultra4 races at our home park of Adventure Off-road. Makes you appreciate the speed they are all racing at when you know what trail wheeling is like there.

The coverage really makes me want to go watch in person next year.

if i would have researched into the disney race this year i would have been tempted to go to it, i just thought it was at Jay OK again, not Disney. damit me for not looking into it.

the dam dizzy in the 22r is right up front and sucks ass for any water crossing or such, i watched mine pour water over the dizzy off the belt because the crank was touching the water. not the fan spraying all over the engine, the damn belt was picking up copious amounts of water.

super cool photos by the way
