What's new

Pics of me towing stuff

F250, 6BT, ZF6, Front '06 60, rear '06 10.5, bags with 90psi (she used to e on F150 suspension and so the leafs are SOFT), coilovers, radius arms, yada yada yada....
I know I've asked before, do you have a build thread?

What did your zf6 come from? Ford gas? 6.0 6.4? What adaptor? How do you like it?

I'll be putting a 6bt and a s-750 together at some point

New to me F150 that replaced my cummins swapped Excursion. Doesn't tow as well but the other 99% of the time it is so much easier to deal with.

I lost my primary build thread when the forum it was on went tits up.

Good thread here on the axle swap though.

Ive got to start one...I have tons of pics and keep thinking about it....but just havent started one :shaking:...ln time!

Loaded out for summer camp. I have since removed the wooden sled under the camper to drop it down about 7". Worked great, fuel mileage can only get so bad . I think I was about 9mpg at 70 across Mississippi and Alabama. Not complaining one bit.

It is a Power Wagon so it has softer rear springs and 4.10 diffs. ~50psi in the air bags, sketch level was well within limits.

Pictures hardly really show what’s going on that day. It was a HUGE icy storm mess. I was couple of hours into my 12 hours drive to see my family for the Xmas holiday and got called & turned around to do a tow because this friend of mine who had a battery truck’s caliper seized. The Blazer pic show on how icy/sleet it was. It’s so slippery everywhere. Ice everywhere. GCW over 22,000lbs. It was almost like walking dead on the road. Cars in ditches left and right. Literally drove around cars as they’re not moving at all despite the green light because their tires just spins. I think the weight really helps on that day….

Local station has super on for the price of regular. Some years it's just a "sale" and some years they say they're out of regular.
I think it's just their way of clearing out old stock.

Either way, I usually stock up for ice fishing.

Friend of mine got his truck stolen. Damn thieves pried open the doors of his service truck and stole all of his tools. Couldn't have him driving around with no doors so I helped him out by giving him this service body for his truck.

He's all set up now and calls it the Smoky the Bear bed.

Sucks for your friend, thieves can rot.

I'm always fan of Forest Service utility bed. Not too high and still put 4x8 in.

It looks good. :dustin:
