TruthIt’s not like you dont have equipment to remove the truck from a stuck spot. IE lifting the whole fucking truck up.

See if you start with only 2wd you don’t put yourself in a position to get stuck. Or you go in with the throttle pinnedUjoints dont go out all that often unless you buy a dodge..
Everytime I ended up in a rig that the 4wd didnt work, I ended up stuck
Standard duo cone seal stuff, no oddities in the bearings that I am aware of.So a few choices for a big loader. 2011 wa600 with 21000 hours I can get for 100k ish
Or a 988h 19,000 hours 200k ish.
CarterKraft how bad is a wheel seal? Do these guys have axle problems/ wheel bearing issues?
Me being the dice roller is leaning towards the 600 and hope to get a good 8-10,000 more hours out of it. Currently I’m using a 35,000+ hour 20,000$ Kawasaki 115 . I put over 5,000 hours on that 20k loader with little to no issues. She is definitely getting tired so an upgrade is needed. Especially with something that has parts support for.
lol I like to live on the edge. I’ll jump in my 89 suburban and have no fears taking it on a road trip. I was bombing through some pretty interesting woods trails the other weekend. Wife was getting nervous .I cant imagine not having 4wd for those 5% chances.
Nothing obvious reported to be wrong.Standard duo cone seal stuff, no oddities in the bearings that I am aware of.
I'll look real quick.
That’s just it they both could have a tranny go. 100k less is a really good start to a rebuild. I’ll have the dealer pull oil samples on the 600 and see what they say. I talked to the salesman who took it in on trade. Said they were using up until he dropped the 982 off. The operator hopped out and jumped into the cat.I could see rolling the dice on the 600. $100k gets you close to a rebuilt engine and transmission.
I’m really not afraid of anything. Just need to have a good parts availability. Komatsu is better than most dealers for parts support. The komatsu dealer is 7 miles away from me, the cat dealer is across the highway from them. The $100k difference would be hard not to jump on especially since you aren't Komatsu scared.
That 988H for $200k seems pretty cheap too though so I have no idea.
Yeah the 988 is really long. It has the mono boom on it. Being longer it would be tougher in the tight quarters set upsThey weigh the same but the 988 is 10 feet longer according to Richie specs? I would think assuming apples to apples having a more compact machine that has the same utility would be better than a larger one?
Or a 988h 19,000 hours 200k ish.
Looks like the auto greaser was leaking. What with the mega fluid leak up by the cab?
Yeah hydraulic powered auto lube has a leak.Looks like the auto greaser was leaking.
lol it a union aka not my job to clean that mess up loaderYeah hydraulic powered auto lube has a leak.
Sort of ominous that the crew couldn't keep that area from leaking given it's literally on the cat walk?

The cat dealer just wants it out of their yard
imagine they saw the direction the wind was going and bought a bunch before they went nutsEach one of those jaw dies are between 7-9k. They have 2x as many cone liner sets
I can't speak for anyone else but we tend to do business with places that keep what we need in stock. It might not be the cheapest but it being close enough I can get something at 2 pm on a Saturday in an emergency is worth a lot.imagine they saw the direction the wind was going and bought a bunch before they went nuts
A haul truck showed up today. Fuck these things are huge . Backing them up will take some getting used too.
lol 450hp 160,000lbs loaded go karts
