That actually looks pretty good for a GM.the Buick and Airstream I just got today from the same Auction, The Caballero hopefully will be my forever car, Had one in HS that I loved and miss. I paid up for a rust free example with a manual trans.
It’s amazing what a few days of scrubbing with a scotchbrite and a half a can of leftover clear will do.That actually looks pretty good for a GM.
Nice job - and the Moon discs lookIt’s amazing what a few days of scrubbing with a scotchbrite and a half a can of leftover clear will do.
Worked on them some, Not much chrome left on the bumpers, pretty rough and all the pot metal parts have bad pitting Part of the reason I went for patina on this instead of nice paint, a clean fresh paint job would make the bumpers really stand out.steel wool does wonders on chrome
clown world.
Thats freaking scrap. I need to start shipping rust free vehicles to you guys. This is getting ridiculous.
Gene berg is still around.those vw buggies seem to sell pretty quick up here, even though parts have become basically nonexistent

Like a cloud, We honestly have lost so much with modern cars as far as comfort. That Buick is pimp Juztyn00 . How does she ride?
Red Scotchbrite pad, comet powder, and water and lots of scrubbing. Some SOS pads for the Chrome, 3 rolls of tape, one can of Rustoleum artic white for the bottoms where the paint was gone, some brick red, black and saddle brown faux patina to match the rest of the car on the pass front fender where the previous owner had taken it down to bare metal. Some paper and half a gal of left over clearcoat from the last car I painted. Probably less than $50 in the whole job.You took scotchbrite to it?

I was told by old school glass guys they used baby powder to buff windshields but I’ve always wondered what happens when it rains.steel wool does wonders on chrome

All right wheres this fucking auction?
Ok this thing is stupid fun, instantly 12 years old again buzzing around the yard. It’s a McKee Bros of about a 1970 vintage with a really good running 400cc 2 Stroke.
