What's new

Next on the ever growing list of things I didn't need.

Hello, My name is Justin and I admit I have a problem...

Also been playing with the Electra interior, Couldn't find any vintage looking seat covers and hate having a blanket wad up every time I sit down, so I went with these covers. I kind a like it but still undecided if I'll leave them on

.
Had that as a first truck.
I am jello
Want one so bad.

And I like the seat covers

I was wondering why the 55 looked like the back booth at Flo's Diner. Greezy.

Cool cars anyway! :flipoff2:
It has mostly worn off over the summer to a light matte finish. Most of the reason I do it is to work the oil into the surface rust to preserve the metal where its at.

I'm not real familiar with linseed oil. Does the non-boiled also set up like boiled? Or does it just stay oil?

I’m apparently on a roll currently. 1970 Glastron V157 in darn near perfect condition from a local farm auction. Breathe on the key and it starts. Going to have to put a hitch on the electra to pull it around.

That is a nice boat. Retro baby!

those vw buggies seem to sell pretty quick up here, even though parts have become basically nonexistent

I had a great time at Silver Lake Sand dunes, but next time I go I wanted to take something on the dunes that A) didn't cost $300/hr to rent, B) Didn't have to pull my camper home, and C) was cheap enough that it wouldn't break my heart if I broke it. I've got a year to build it the way I want.

Cool finds

I’d have the same sickness if I had 40 acres of storage and some more disposable income .
ive only got 2 acres and need to sell something soon.

The dunebuggy looks a little better after a date with the pressure washer, it’ll be put on the back burner for now.

The 69 Chevy is now running and has a new set of wheels and tires and dog dishes from my stash, waiting on some tuneup and brake parts for it and it will be up for sale.

Never seen a dune buggy with cutout doors.
But I think every dune buggy in the world has 65 mustang tail lights .
same, I've been looking all over the internet and haven't found a similar fiberglass body. Sort of an oddball.

My brother has one of those POS sitting on his property. "I'm going to restore it some day" LOL....that was 20 something years ago
ETA: he also has a 64 EMPI IMP (dune buggy) fully restored with a corvair motor in it, it's down right scary to drive if you get onto it.

This one "runs" and has 5 brand new tires, I got it for the price of the tires. Been looking for an engine but most everything I've found for parts is locked up. Probably just going to put the fiberglass body on it if the autostick functions. never messed with one of those so should be interesting.

Been selling off stuff this week, Got the 69 Chevy running and driving good and made a healthy profit, and sold both the VWs as a package deal, Decided I rather get a SxS for the dunes next year. So tonight I found this on an online auction and decided I needed this sort of trouble in my life.
