What's new

Next on the ever growing list of things I didn't need.

I spent the day at the auction buying sketchy cars yet again. Wife is unsure of my ever expanding fleet.

What area are you buying vehicles at auction?

I follow Mr Goodpliers on YouTube at auctions he and a buddy of his go to. They mainly do farm auctions around Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and dip into Oklahoma at times. Pretty interesting watching them.

Ok this thing is stupid fun, instantly 12 years old again buzzing around the yard. It’s a McKee Bros of about a 1970 vintage with a really good running 400cc 2 Stroke.
I knew a guy who sold those things new in the late 90’s. I didn’t give them much thought as I raced dirt bikes, but I help him sell them to customers of mine who were duck hunters.

I do the same basic thing as Mr Goodpliers, Farm and estate auctions in Southern IL, IN, KY, and MO. Auctionzip.com if you want to find some close to you.

The ones I've seen were pretty slow and more utilitarian, This one is not. Does every bit of 30mph on not very round tires. Think it was made for snowmobile enthusiasts during the summer months. Definitely not sneaking up on any game animals with the 2 stroke blasting.
