New X3 is in!

A little progress today. Cabin noise reduction kit installed and started soldering up some yellow fogs.

now get it dirty!

the only lights i've ever been able to keep on mine, i have on the front shock tower. all the others get ripped off.

i do have a clear and yellow for the tower light, but still never gotten around to trying out the yellow.


you'll have to let us know what you think of white vs yellow light. both my front headlight mounts are broken, at $400 ea to replace i'm kinda thinkin to replace with cheap leds, maybe yellow. still on the fence about it.

cant wait to get my junk back together, like seeing your progress.

Seats are going back in tomorrow. I think Im gonna cut the risers down by an inch or so.

looks good man,

did you notice there are a set of lower seat mounts in the front mounts, and the spacers are removable in the rear seat mount? i have mine in the lower mounts for now, but these seats are horrible for all day riding.
 
yeah, gonna use the lower fronts, then cut the rear spacer to match height.

i didnt think about cuttting them down, i just pulled them out. thats a good way to fine tune the seating position.
 
The seats are back in and the interior is pretty well buttoned up

Also got the blue tooth stereo remote mounted up. Ill get it wired and mounted next week

I meant where were you riding at.

I rode over there a few times in the last few months.

I really like the area, I was more in the Tacket area in Pioneer.

One of the best things I did was hire a guide one day, showed me so many trails and places I did not know how to get to.

The guide made it so all I had to do was focus on the driving and not trying to figure out where the fuck I was at all the time.

Have a fun time over there for sure!
 
Yeah, Tacket creek and Stinking creek all connect. This will be our 4th SXS trip to the area. Last time we stayed in the camp ground right behind the giant cross and porn shop on 75. :lmao:

We try to get TN twice a year and the UP twice a year. Not sure this year though. Gas prices are going to make it tough.

Started the tree kicker install last night. Turns out they sent the wrong ones, so I am waiting on the replacements. The company I ordered them from (DMX performance) were very responsive and they seem well built. Hopefully it will all work out.

I talked with Fernando and he was immediately apologetic and send he would send out replacements. He also asked about the scratches on them and I said they arrived that way, but I didnt care since I was just going to go beat on them. He apologized again and said they would pack the next set better. They seem top notch!

Nice looking machine!
 
I bought all this crap while I was waiting for it to come in. (took 6 months). Its loaded up and ready to head to TN this week. Itll never look this nice again.
 
put the jack under the center of the rear diff, jack it up until its snug. if you are worried about it moving around then add a strap to the tie down in the floor.

fits good. those 32s work good on a 2 seater. i think you'll enjoy it.

i vote to zip tie that jack to the floor tie downs.
