Naders

Leaves and twigs on the ground at our house (W Des Moines), but a street west and several large trees on houses ... all the PITA Bradford pear trees down in a row next to the street. But, wow, hearts go out to Greenfield!

My buddies house in greenfield. He lost everything as you can see.

I have that exact same toolbox.

Sucks about the damage but glad he survived

We lost power in Fort Dodge but had no damage. I did get to see a tree on the high voltage power lines arcing. It looked like a transformer was exploding but it was just wires and tree.

Friends’ mom’s house. Thankfully she was gone. The first pic, those vehicles were parked in back of it. Never have found the roof yet.

View from the house. Bin was full of corn, been vaccing since 9am.

BTW this was a different tornado than greenfield, about 25 miles away. This storm produced at least 3 in a 10 mile wide stretch in the same county that came through within minutes of each but ended up taking different paths. There were another one or two at almost exactly the same time to the west 20 miles and to the SE 30 (one was the pic I posted yesterday). I’ve been out here myself for the last 5 hours.

Iowa had a bunch of tornado warnings again this morning. I haven’t heard if any actually touched down.

We had a scare last night at Mid America Outdoors in Jay. About 11:30 sombody came around knocking on all the trailers telling everybody to GTFO because a tornado may come right through here. We jumped in the truck and headed north to Grove OK to wait it out. Luckily the track didn't get hit that bad and all our stuff was still there when we got back at 2am. Not cool but could have been much worse
