Naders

The derecho straight-line winds are often as bad as a tornado.

junkytj -- we just sold a couple acres not far from you on Frisco Church. Know of anyone leasing any land out that way?

Do you mean for grazing or improvements? I could probably find grazing land over around Harrison. I have contacts that could probably find something for improvements over here.I do have 5 acres out near Prairie Creek for sale

ETA I could walk to the church pretty easy.

Funnel cloud in Hallsville, MO. A few going around in the Memphis area? I'm looking to see what's heading this way from TX/OK.

Middle BIL is in Hastings NE. Our niece, his youngest daughter, was freaking out. She grew up here on the property for a good part of her life. I think the sirens really got her

80+ mph winds, my yard is fucked...

Family ok?

Thank God, then give 'em a saw and maul

That sucks. Everyone ok?

NV is saying they had 102mph winds.
Im the only one home, and I'm alive so we must be good. My parents left for Arizona this afternoon, pretty sure the trees were on the ground before they were :homer:
May have to rely on the kindness of my friends and neighbors to clean up the worst of it while they are gone.

Im just north of NV, and shit was sideways so l believe 102

This round just missed us, about a mile south from our house in Elwood. Dropped high tension lines across I55, and hit the refinery.

Sirens at 1:30am last night. Had two come within 4 miles of my house.

Wouldn’t be shocked if they end up rated EF-4. There are buildings cleared off the foundations. Lots of roofs missing.

Shit, my buddy Cody lives right in the area mentioned in this post and lives in a neighborhood that looks exactly like the one in the video above. Time to make some calls!

First siren went off about 130am. First 'nader petered out before it got to my place.

Power cut out about 300am, came back on at 7 am. The Harrah 'nader came about 4-6 miles from my place (it's the one that knocked out power)

Where are you at? It’s about 4 miles from my house too 🤣

Went to help a friend of a friend try to salvage any personal affects we could.
