Naders

We had a scare last night at Mid America Outdoors in Jay. About 11:30 sombody came around knocking on all the trailers telling everybody to GTFO because a tornado may come right through here. We jumped in the truck and headed north to Grove OK to wait it out. Luckily the track didn't get hit that bad and all our stuff was still there when we got back at 2am. Not cool but could have been much worse
If you're still there you might wanna take some cover for hail.

Guess I shoulda taken some pics of Bull Shoals this morning.

Tents got rolled and flattened, of course. Very large trees knocked over. Bunch of broken limbs and split trunks. Couple trees over power lines and two high tension lines fell onto the road.

Our oldest is near Huntsville. I’m watching her weather closer than she is

We’ve told her she’s more than welcome to come here and worry about earthquakes :homer:

Prayers for everyone in the crosshairs out there.

Maybe they are following you!!

I'm really starting to think that.....

My truck and trailer were parked exactly where that big tree fell. Last minute yesterday evening I decided to park the trailer next to the garage and put the truck in the driveway. Soooo fucking glad I did that!

The Rodger’s one touched down about 2 blocks from me. Lost power / fence s and trees down blew the skylight off my roof and had hail in my kitchen plus minimal damage to my jeep
Glad you are OK. My place was from the one that was to the east of Lowell. Out Frisco Cemetary near the lake. We're still one lane open to get through in places out there.

Girl friends house in Jonesboro IL over the weekend. She was walking through the house where the tree landed.

Must not be far from where we were camping. The funnel wind hit us full blast within seconds.

Were you at horse shoe bend by chance? Several RVs dumped over out there.
We were at Bull Shoals campground by the dam. I'm guessing there was no touchdown right there, but plenty of rotation to cause a path of damage. The worst stuff was about a quarter mile from our campsites.

Bull Shoals is a different area all together. Beaver Lake is near Rogers. Same river though.

Aware of that. From what we could tell, it seemed the rotation that started up next to us is what eventually touched down and hit Rogers.

Wrong direction. The storms were moving to the east. The one that hit you up there was after Rogers and pretty close to the one that hit part of our property in Olvey. A lady was killed there and another man was killed doing clean up.

Gotcha. Maybe it's Mountain Home that I'm thinking of. Can't keep up with them all when all these naders are hitting towns of the same names in adjacent states.

junkytj -- we just sold a couple acres not far from you on Frisco Church. Know of anyone leasing any land out that way?

A couple pics from Decatur & Rogers.

Well, to add to this, I just got word that the husband of the cleaning lady at my wife's work was at our campsite helping to clean up and a tree fell on him and killed him. There's was an awful lot of damage down there despite no confirmation of a tornado.
