What's new

My visit to the E.R....

Let them do their thing. It's not like you're going to get an appt this year, unfortunately. And if you don't care for the shitbird that eventually sees you, welcome to the club.
Yeah, no doctors in my area are taking new patients.

I have an appointment at the Golden Valley Health Clinic on Wednesday.

Only seeing 64p... would like to know if you ever hook up your monitor and see anything in the 70s, or above?

64 is pre-bradycardia stuff.

It was getting better until Monday hit.

Edit: wait, what the fuck?!!! Your pulse was 84 beats at 7am on a Sunday? That’s just…weird.

No I have not. I do roll my neck and stretch my arm up throughout the day, just not on any kind of schedule.

I did try go get something for my daughter off of the top of her canopy princess bed yesterday, I started getting dizzy so I stopped doing that :homer:.

I haven't done anything to get my heart rate up since this all started, I'm a little gun shy about it now.
Nothing for getting heart rate up but more dedicated than the 1 or 2 stretches is all.

Might help, can't hurt :rasta:

That says Monday, today.
Yeah..sorry.

You should avoid Mondays. Those seem bad for your health.

I have a feeling your Wednesday appointment won’t be much of a big deal, and you’ll just need to schedule one every 11-12 months. I started doing my physicals when insurance covered it. Doctor asked why and my response was ‘I want the track record of what is normal FOR ME so when shit starts changing we can catch it. It’s not what I see or feel on the outside I care about. It’s all the stuff on the inside.’

I get a full blood/lipid/cholesterol/biowhateverthefuck every year to go with it.

For the record, use your monitors on your LEFT arm just above the elbow and keep your arm at heart level very still, legs uncrossed.

Keep your log going, share it /w any professional you see. I don't think you're bp numbers are stable enough, austin.
She hand measured bpm @ 61. I don't know what accurately of this, or any otc machine is but the constantly or stability in the test is what would be important.

Ok. They were checking my right arm at the hospital. We'll make a notation and switch to the left.

Don't 100% trust the OMRON for your pulse, take pulse manually to see if it is acurate. The 2 BP machines I have always read low. The pulse oximeter I have reads much closer to actual. Also the auto cuff machine are very temperamental to location on the arm and rotation. Use same location every time and use it more as a barometer to changes in your BP.

The right is ok but with Brady in play I'd opt for the left.

Omrons are temperamental to rotation as well lumberjack, may be not as much though.

Sinoatrial, aka sinus node, aren't uncommon as the primary source. Biggest problem (besides heart failure!) is lack of oxygen to the brain and other vital organs.

Take your blood pressure first thing in the am, but do it after resting your heart and mind. Do it again in the evening when relaxing. Mid day numbers don’t mean much.

I make them check mine twice every time. It checks high the first go round every single time. I fucking HATE that pulsing feeling and I can't help but tense up. It'll check normal the second time.

I worked with a guy that raced road bicycles and in his 50's he would wake up in the middle of the night and do sprints on his trainer to get his heart rate up because it would drop too low.

IDK how he knew but he did.
we would work a 1400-2200 shift and he would ride 50- 70 miles in the morning before work, I hated those days, he would show up to work all jacked up and ready to go 100 miles an hr.

I swear the old man in his 70's still rides and is probably in the best shape of anyone I know.

I went to bed early last night. My head, stomach, back and chest hurt. I didn't sleep well. I woke up with a headache.
After a hot shower my bp is
124/74
Pulse was 94
My head quit hurting after the shower.

Edit: I did drink a cab of cokeacola this morning before getting in the shower.

Are you just sick with a flu or Lyme disease or something?
