... with all the new changes in health care, there will be a questionnaire that the nurse will go over before you see the doc ...

Hopefully we find out something tomorrow.

... do not answer anything affirmative to the ;
"have you been feeling down or depressed, or find yourself not enjoying your usual activities"

Simply saying, "naw, not really, but I havent been liking as many posts on teh IBB recently" will engage staff hyperdrive

Statistics for the rest of your life are none of their business.

They said that it was most likely a migraine. She looked over my tests from the hospital and said that there were no signs of a stroke, tumor or infection in my brain.

She didn't say anything bad about my blood pressure/ pulse.

800mg motrin + any triptan = zombie mode.

Not saying it's a bad thing, that combo should do well for any head pain.

After you start the imitrex watch closely for a few key effects such as 1) abrupt changes to your heart rate, chest tightness, arrhythmias etc, 2) digestive issues ie stomach pain, diarrhea, bloody stool etc, 3) dizziness, fainting sense etc.

You may feel dizzy from the onset, tingling skin, cold extremities, those can be considered normal side effects.

Have you gained access to the portal...

They asked my son if we had any firearms at home, he knew the correct answer.

sounds like stuff Gary would say when he was 90. Which was like 20 years ago.

Youre getting old, old bro :flipoff2:

He was at the dr's during high school getting a football physical, and the Dr was asking him questions, and one of them was are there any firearms in your house, I guess without hesitation he answered no.

why the hell is it of their business?

"yes, a small artilary" would be my kids answer :lmao:

California, so pretty sure it was a thing for awhile trying to pry info out of people, everyone in my house has a pat answer, no we don't believe in guns. They probably already know, but no sense confirming it.

My wife (RN) has said never mention casual or moderate drinking. Even if you're telling the truth at average 2 glasses of wine once a week, they're going to assume daily drinker and watch this person for DT's, and possibly adjust meds assuming alcoholism. The answer needs to be "yes I drink 7 days a week" or "no, I don't drink".

The imitrex does not have any affect on the migraine. I've taken 3/4 of the 24 hour recommended dosage.

Going to recheck pulse manually... Going to stop taking the imitrex.

Manually counts 59.

You going to staly alive long enough to make it to my 40th next weekend?
I was trying to work it out before this happened... We had to push a lot of work back because of this so I'm not sure how much that will interfere.

I'll let you know if I can make it.

I’m 39 and have had resting heart rates as low as 48-52. If you walk a lot and have decent cardio health those numbers are normal.
I think that it was a fluke. It's been consistently around 60 and was 59 by my wife's count. The imitrex has a side effect that can drop your heart rate which is not good. It doesn't seem to do anything anyway.
