What's new

Motortrend!

Agreed! As a paying sponsor for the past five years they are the worst to deal with. From what I hear it's a bunch of man bun wearing liberals with custom brewed Starbucks lattes that know nothing about us making all the decisions. All they care about is profit. Glad to not be dealing with them anymore unless somehow Ultimate Adventure gets revived with the same crew, otherwise last years run was the last.
damn, that's sad to hear. end of an era if UA dies now too

when did Top Truck die, must have been 10 years ago or so? I remember drooling over Abba's Scout early on. then Dan's buggy

Top truck died in 2015. We sponsored 2014 and was glad we were able to not knowing the next year would be the final year.

I'd hate to lose UA coverage and especially the event all together since it still seems to be a decently big deal (or maybe I've over-hyped it in my head as a 4WOR reader since Aug '03). I would hope that some sponsors and a production company would pick that event up to keep it going.

Thank y'all for the years of support for this Sport and Industry, regardless of what happens.

I hope UA stays around. I don't think the baristas understand exactly where that profit is. Soon it will just be a pimp my ride for electric cars....

Maybe Austin can poach some of the sponsors for the IBB SE adventure they do every year or so.

Looks like discovery just released TTC 13-15…

Forgot how bad this event was.

I remember when he was ill, but I had thought he had healed better. Wasn’t too into the car so I didn’t watch till the end.

No new episodes of anything I watch in over 2 weeks.

Getting pissed off here.
Somewhere I saw that all but three shows are canceled. I’m not sure what was canceled, but if I had to guess the remaining shows would be 3 of these 4. Roadkill, roadkill garage, hot Rod garage, engine masters.

I have heard that the Director of the motortrend group is all about EV’s. He’s not excited about gas motors at all. But as a hipster man bun latte drinker, what do we expect?

I'd guess the survivors are Roadkill, Roadworthy Rescues, and maybe Hot Rod Garage.

Thats the Midwest irates, so far the SE irates have proven to be a bunch of web wheelers based on the turnout of the runs I have been putting on:flipoff2:. IMO sponsorship is not needed for a UA style irate ride and they only ruined it, them and influencers. The past few years it has been glorified product ads and watching YouTubers wheel, boring. The only reason I was remotely interested this year was to watch them wheel trails that I have and watch the VP of product development at warn bang a shop built tj off some trees.

agreed, a past UA friend did his own “mediocre adventure” and had a blast. I never had anything street legal when he did it.

Signing up me and a friend tomorrow. Hopefully it’s not out west.

Watched the Dragoneer episode this afternoon. Pretty solid really. One of the better ones I've seen in a while.

Freiburger just posted engine masters is done.
