Introductions

Finally came over and joined up here, lurked on the other site for a long time. Never had anything I thought was cool enough to post. Maybe one day I'll start a build thread when I get time and money to actually start doing more to my truck.

'78 F250 460/C6, Skyjacker Lift, 37 General X3's on H2 wheels. Fitech injection, fuel system re-done with an in tank pump. Lots more planned, hopefully start on some of it soon.

I moved over from pirate as well, same user name.
Right now my wheeler is an 86 F-350 chassis cab that's been shortened.
460, T19, 1345, D60/10.25 Locked/Welded on 39.5 TSL boggers, H1's, front/rear winches
Nothing special, but is inexpensive and capable enough.

Just bought a 1984 Ford Bronco. I've owned a couple Fords, but they were just DD's that I never messed around with. Man, this is like learning a lot of stuff all over again. I got questions that are too pussy for Irate standards, so reading through a ton of threads with people bitching and whining about pulling A/C systems out, removing emissions stuff, etcetera. So...definitely a sweet ride, a good project, but fuck Photobucket for deleting fucking photos!

Damn; that's a clean Bronco! :smokin:

Thanks, man! I started a thread on it in the Other Builds section. This is basically just going to be damn near bone stock. It's too clean for Pennsylvania to molest it.

That is nice. Please put some bigger tires on it though. Not crazy, but at least 33's.

New to the Forum. Stalked Pirate for years, but just learned about this site🤘🏻. Here’s my 1979 f250 on a Dana 60/Sterling 10.25 combo, 203/205 doubler and a 460 with a 4spd

I am surprised how little frame flex that dentside has. I didn't realize that they were so much stiffer than the '80-'97 trucks

Guess I’ll introduce myself a little bit. Lurked on pirate for a long time. Fell out of wheeling for about 8 years now. Finally getting the itch to get back to it. Last iteration of my rig was a healthy BBF with a RMVB C6 and a 205 case. Had 44/9” with 4.56 gears and Detroit’s. It was a super fun setup but this time it’s going to be much more capable. Kept snapping axle shafts and driveshafts. Sticking with a BBF but undecided if I want an auto or jump to stick. D60 and a sterling with 4 link front and rear on 44’s. Pics are from its last configuration and how it sits currently.

Occasionally post on FSB, full time lurker on Pirate for....16 years?! Damn im getting old.

I remember you from FSB. It's nice to see familiar faces/names on here. I was a teenager back then with the idea that lights and wheels made a build.. haha. (AndrewJames)

Edit: Nothing special, 79 F150 with factory EFI 4.8/4L60E. Factory D44/9inch with Chromos and 5.13s. Yukon Grizzly rear, Eaton E-Locker front.

I just snapped these real quick at work. First time I had driven in it in a month or so. Drives and runs good like this. Still have a little tidying up under hood I would like to do.

Nice 'guardsman blue' cattle guard.:smokin:

Some of my past rigs, I put 12v Cummins engines in the highboy and white crew, then sold them both, the pics are from the buyers in ca and Texas, the blue short bed was because I regretted selling the others. Then i sold it, haha

The tan 79 is my next build, likely keeping it low key, factory a.c. truck, the new guts are on the trailer, an efi351 that's going to get a 2bbl, a C6/1356 combo and a pair of 05 sd diffs, going to get 315s and be my Friday night cowboy Cadillac

The 67 ranchero is one we did for my grandfather, a 20 footer driver with a 289/c4, but it's a cool car

I'll dig up pics of the EBs I've passed on to new owners

I used to love it over on Pirate. LagunaMS told me about this place. It reminds me of the old Pirate.
