Damn. Lots of injuries too? I quit mtb after my 3rd crash.

Affecting your retirement though?
C3 through C7 is fused.
L2 was decompressed.
L3 through L5 + sacrum is fused.

The direct fuses aren't the problem.
It's the inner muscles that have belong weak and started pinching nerves; mainly the sciatic nerve branches.

I'm medically retired.
I'm 100% disabled because of it.
In fact; my Medicare/disability judge was one of the first Obama era 'make-it-more-difficult-to-qualify-for-SSDI' trained judges.

Said judge had me tested by court-appointed neuro doc/ortho doc/employment specialist.
Said judge's 15+ page final report concluded I was physically a train wreck.

Since the March '16 lower back surgery:
'17/'18/'19 were good health recovery years.
2020/'21/and '22 my mobility has slowly and steadily started to decrease.
The irony is the nerve pain is only a 1 to 5 on a scale of 0 to 10.
It's low to medium level pain I can stop by sitting or laying down.
But it's kept me from exercising, and in the last 6 months I've finally realized what's going on.

Irony #2 is that I started losing weight about the same time; I wanted to do my part in keeping me healthy.
Started at 245lbs in Spring 2020 and currently at 220lbs, with the final goal of 200lbs.

Weight loss:
Went from 245lbs to 230lbs in four months (Summer '20).
Then stayed at 230lbs from about Oct/Nov '20 to about Feb. '22.
Then dropped to 220lbs in May '22.

What I've been eating for last two years:
Per day (X4) -

Per evening/dinner (X2 to 4) -

OR (X1) -

This keeps the calorie-count at, or below 2,500cal per day.
