I know this place is everyone's personal army, and who doesn't love a good pitchfork/torch/sunroof party, but what if there was a place to just chat and BS about things? Not hunt anyone down or rape their dog, just "Hey guys, what do y'all think?"

We gave him our thoughts on the problem HE posted about and he doesn't want to take any of the advice and in my opinion isn't giving us the whole story.

You want intelligent conversations, we need intelligent questions first. That's not what's happening in this thread because of the OP.

What is the point of this thread?

Sometimes you have to ask a question or comment on something to get it off of your mind. Maybe this debacle isn't important to him at this time but is clouding up his mind and he can stop worrying about it now that "we're all" worrying about it.

I have build a small pile of cages
never ever have I needed the weather to get better to build a cage in my shop

not for the design, measuring, bending, or coping, none of it

I brought over the camper box this week and he's supposed to get going on it this weekend.

That was a shitshow on it's own.

Had to finish a firewood order, deliver, park at the wood yard. (Delivery was like 90 miles round trip) then grab my other truck at the wood yard, then ~15 miles back home for the trailer, back to wood yard for Bobcat, get that loaded and home and it's midnight ish.

Get up early next morning, offload Bobcat and get camper from my storage field. Load camper on back of truck. Tore the hell out of the yard and driveway since I still had the cleated over tire tracks, didn't have time to take them off.
Then try to load warehouse forklift on trailer for the guy to use. End up busting through the trailer and getting the ramps jammed under it.
Break a chain trying to unstuck it with excavator.

Call the guy and we decide I'll just leave the trailer with him and he'll try to borrow a loader, so unstrap the camper, load it on the trailer.

Get maybe 3 miles down the road and somehow the stupid thing is sliding like 2 ft across the trailer.
Mind you it's pouring rain in all this. Add more straps, about ready to say fuck it at this point.

Drop it off, get home, throw on non muddy clothes, shit, pet the dog and haul ass to the airport to get to work.
Running late, and apparently every family trip ended that day and security is jammed full more than I've ever seen in 20 years.
Use the TSA pre check but they claim im not signed up, even though I have TWIC, HAZMAT, and used to have full airport clearance when I worked there... and a now expired SCI clearance from the .mil.
But they me through after a body scan and got to the gate as they were starting to board.

Yup. Real fun.

Men tend to piss off women by trying to fix a problem so it won't be a problem any more.

We're inconsiderate like that, trying to kill dragons & never have to hear about them again.

We need to understand that, sometimes, women just want their problems & feels validated :homer:

No, been trying to get him to take it for over a year now.

Need the box to figure out how it'll mount and the tubing run.

Well... yeah, pretty much as expected.

Told them they had until end of July. Got in touch today after being ignored for the last 2 weeks and nothing has been done.

It's actually $4500 I paid. $3000 in February 2022 on a credit card and a $1500 zero turn in July. Was selling it on Market's Place and he contacted me wanting it.

They got the Unimog July 2022. I tried to drop off the box in August, possibly September when I got it from my boss and they didn't have room.
Was supposed to be done before winter, then it was a winter project, etc, etc. He shut down the shop this spring but wanted to finish it still so he brought it to his house.


Dropped off the box July 16 with agreement it would be all done before I got back 1st week of August. (3 weeks), which was a week after the deadline I set in May.
