How long is reasonable to wait on a shop?

Or I could just drive out there. Not like it's that big a town.
Does the guy live in the Butte or Houston area with a Russian accent goes by Oleg ? If that's the case it's long gone lots of characters up there. Hindsight and all I would have recommended GTF in Anchorage if you find it take it there.

I'm halfway convinced this isn't a troll.
What's the price of DOM pf foot In More Western Canadia?
100% isn't. Imho.

$7-$10/ft, depending on quantity ordered, last I looked.
$10, last time I talked to GTF in Anchorage. 1.75, anyway. $25/ft for steering don.

Driving around looking is silly. Wasilla is a large, spread out area, not a single stoplight. More Appalachia than Oklahoma.

$3,000 pays for 12 25’ sticks of 1.75 you listed above.

I have said this many times to you guys.... the "I should have invested in" for me is tubing, circa Y2K- 2010 or later. I remember complaining about $3/ft DOM. I should have dumped every spare dollar in it I had during that time and have it stacked to the roof in my dad's barn.

I have around 15 sticks of 1.75 .125 wall DOM in stock I bought at around the $3 a ft price years ago. But I’m hoarding a bunch of steel too :smokin:

I got about 8 of so sticks of 1.75 0.120 that I've had for like 10 years. Probably bout it for 4 a foot. :homer:

"Diversify your portfolio by investing in gold, silver and DOM tube"

Nate Dogg needs to regulate, at this point.

Did you guys discuss size/complexity of the cage?
I don't understand putting the cart in-front of the horse, (cage first, Driving later), but I've done stupid stuff myself.

I'm convinced that the partial trade is gone as hell and you will never see that back. Does the guy still post stuff on social media?

I’m guessing HREW is about $2.00-$3.00 less than DOM up there. My friend had a guy build a cage for his Mudd Ox in Wasilla it came out how he wanted it and the build quality is good I can get the guys info if you’d like if or when you get your Mog back.

I have also been in a similar situation with two motorcycle engine. There’s a guy a few hours from me that specializes in vintage motorcycle engine rebuilds and modifications.

His work and knowledge is great unfortunately his turnaround time or order of how he prioritizes his builds not so much. I think again my opinion he puts the circle track racers engines first and regular customers stuff stays on the back burner.

Anyhow after two years of getting strung along I went and loaded up my engines and haven’t purchased any more parts from him I was buying parts also else where so no loss on my side.

It sounds like it’s time for you to put your eyes on you machine and figure away about getting it back . I personally would go about it in a polite manner things usually work best for me when I chose the high road . I have gone about things or situations like this in my past with anger and frustration with the outcome not ending well for either party.

Keep this updated I’d say most of us here would like to see your Mog posted up on here with some build progress .

The longer you wait, the less likely you are to get the mog back in any sort of salvagable condition. I’m guessing it’s not stored in a barn or even covered.

Wouldn't be stored in anything at my place either. Been sitting outside for probably 15 years.
