Help Me Pick a Camper

It's cold up here, not sure if the furnace would keep it from freezing while driving.
And winter is finally arriving here this week.

That's in my 'hood.

77fixer will probably be a good 5+° colder where he lives.
No kidding. You're downright balmy
I was recovering from a surgery last week, but I think it was mid 30s-40s overnight last week.
We've barely had snow this year either

The treasure valley gets stuck with inversions. I dont think they are as bad as they used to be. I remember some narrow spreads when I was younger, from -10 low to 10* high.

We moved up here about 8 years ago and most years have maintained 2-3' snow through the winter. Once it warms up and the winds kick in, it doesnt take long to dry us out again. Our little bit of dirt sits on top of rock.
One year in the RV the waterline coming out of the ground froze below the heat tape a couple nights (minus 7 - minus 10*). Until I buried the tape a little bit and laid foam board over the dirt.

We've had a very funky Winter.

Too warm and not enough snow.
We're only at 60+% snowpack so far (in my area).

Same here, only had a few 1-3" storms, lots of rain. Yesterday was actually the most snow we've gotten, about 5".

But I wouldn't mid 40s is getting cold.

Since we're posting forecast. :flipoff2:

Biggest thing I have ever seen is the warning that the melted cover is trying to say. Don't run the water heater without the tanks being filled up. I guess it could also over heat if the tank was low and sloshing around maybe? dunno about that.

What did you figure out with the water heater?
How about the generator?
:flipoff2:
As I sit on the couch:homer:

I think I drove around with the camper slide partially out! :homer:

Went to the storage unit to put some stuff in the camper/opened the slide about a 3rd way out.

When I was finished I (I thought) buttoned everything up and went to Wal.mart and then home; that was 3hrs ago.

I just noticed the slide sticking out partially.:shaking::frown:

Whoops! Hopefully didn't hurt anything but I would definitely check the seals and such to make sure nothing flapped weird in breeze.
