What's new

Guy answers door in Arizona - shot dead by cops in 5 seconds. Oh he's white...

So he knew it was a cop. Stupid games, stupid prizes. The cops would not have shot him if he didn't waltz out the door like an all-powerful **** holding his pistol behind his back.

No dumb fuck you completely missed the context of you own stupid example of a non cop walking down the street. Never mind the fact the the cops appear knew it was a bogus Before even knocking. Then as he is attempting to do what they say he is shot in the back. Then failed to render aid as required.

I hope for your sake you never get a cop bad call to your place like this but if you do and the cops murder you I am sure you will be ok with it as you seem to not care when cops murder civilians.

Go find your Blendtech 5000 and do what you know you must.

You act like the dude was just standing there complying. No cop is going to shoot a guy just for having a rifle in his truck when he's pulled over. If all that matters in life is not breaking the law then life would be pretty easy. I'm sad for the guy and his family, but he was stupid and got shot because of it. What he did at any point in his life before the moment he opened that door while holding a pistol behind his back doesn't matter at that moment. If you were delivering a pizza and that exact thing happened, are you just going to stand there like nothing could happen? What if I'm the pizza guy and put my hand on my CC during the interaction and the dude just decides to shoot me? Legal shoot, right? I was going for my gun? You can play thought experiments all you want but the fact is the guy fucked up. He was an irresponsible gun owner at a minimum and he does not represent me or my right to bear arms.

And no cop is going to blow away a dog through a car window for barking at him in a car with zero chance the dog can actually hurt him... Oh wait that happens all the time..

So how many members of your family are or have been cops? Honest question because you are defending absolute murder. YOU CAN NOT SHOOT SOMEONE IN THE BACK, especially if they are not doing anything in a threatening manner.

I would have used a red crayon font if we had one for the caps as I feel it may have helped your apparent limited comprehension this morning.

I'm making a judgement call based on my experience. Just like I did with those other two. Trust but verify, and I give the Phoenix cops the benefit of the doubt. The video evidence is enough for me to say the police did nothing wrong even if they knocked on the wrong apartment door and the guy was literally just some Joe. You don't answer a knock from police like that. If you don't think it's really the police then you certainly don't open the fucking door!

Fuck you openly display your stupid too easily

He screwed up, and the cop was the judge and executioner for it right? This was homicide. If you are the pizza guy and this goes down, like you describe, door guy is going down for murder because he called a guy there and murdered him meaning premeditated so it's really bad example. These cops were drawn down on the guy before he even showed up. Hid away from the peep hole so he had no idea they were drawn down on him and then they shot him in the back as he was either complying or fleeing definitely not aiming or charging. You could call all of the acts prior to the door opening premeditation and call it murder. I don't think it would stick so I hope the PA only goes for homicide. Unfortunately they will likely not be charged. If you can't understand that you are way to much of a statist and give cops way too much power over us lowly civilians those goons are supposed to serve.

How do you know he knew it was a cop? The cop didn't announce it very load and the door was closed. If I answer the door with a gun, I conceal it somewhat because I don't want to upset an innocent person. If I open the door and don't see anyone, I'm very suspicious and I don't care who sees the gun at that point. I also might start moving fast if I want to catch the guy. That all seems very logical from my point of view. I guess I hadn't considered cops ambushing me. I will learn from this video. (I'm still answering the door with a gun.)

What if the driver knocked on the wrong door? You think some dude with no shirt on in an apartment complex who is concealing a pistol in his hand behind his back is just going along about his business, no risk here, just obeying the law, no reason for alarm? Dude knew it was cops outside his door or he wouldn't have opened it, and he chose to pick up his pistol and hold it behind his back before he did. Not illegal, but very stupid and not necessary.

You white trash pieces of shit 2A defenders are no different than BLM. Should just call yourselves WLM so the rest of us know where you stand. There was no statist power overreach going on here. That fucking idiot with the pistol just reminds you of how stupid you can be and it bothers you.

Well he opened the door didn't he? Would you do that if you thought it wasn't the cops? Ohhhh they didn't announce it loud enough, I see. Have you ever looked through a peep hole? He could see them out there. He could have done 10 things to verify, including yelling back out through the closed door, calling the police, etc. Stop making excuses for stupid white people.

If the dead guy knew it was the cops before he picked up the gun then why didn’t he come shooting? Surely if he knew it was the cops that would have been the only logical reason to answer the door with a firearm ready.

I don't understand this logic. If he doesn't know it's a cop, he shouldn't open the door? That would mean that almost nobody would ever open a door.

I think you meant to say that you don't understand this lack of logic. Because there is zero logic being used by reals quash

JFC... So when a stranger unexpectedly knocks on your door in the middle of the night and doesn't announce themselves as the police you call the police? Or just sit quietly in fear and hope that they go away?
Fuck that I answer the door. I'm not waiting for it to get kicked in or for my vehicle to get broken into because they assumed that no one was home.

Remember the dude was just sitting there complying. No cop is going to shoot a guy just for having a pistol in his gf's car when he's pulled over...

I fixed your post about irreparable harm done to Philandro Castile. Piece of shit cop walked, show forgiveness...? Fuck that cop-

They stood to the side so he couldn't see them through the peephole. He obviously didn't see the cop that shot him. I think he barely saw the female cop in the shadow went out the door to investigate. The cop could have done 10 things differnt and nobody would have been killed. The cop started the exchange. If you rob a bank and some winds up dead, you are charged with murder even if you didn't pull the trigger. The first and only person to do something that was illegal was the cop. Therefore, he is responsible for everything that happens.

He is not using logic, he is either being argumentative for the sake of arguing of he is very blind to the fact that he is stating assumptions as facts.

The facts we know. Cops thought is was a bogus call, Cops shot man in back. Cops failed to render aid like required. Man was shot and killed by police for having a firearm legally in his hand and not threatening or using it illegally, from what we can see.

And the douchebag murdering cop could have not shot him when there was absolutely no reason to consider him a threat. That cop could have done 10 things other than murdering someone in their own doorway who did nothing illegal or wrong.

Stop making excuses for douchebag murdering cops

There's some good logic. If he knew it was cops and he intended to have a shoot out, why not come out shooting? Why not shoot out the window? Again, why would this guy want a shoot out with the cops? Was he a meth head? Did he have anything illegal in the house?

Absolutely no reason? Come on!

The cops just barged in unannounced and shot the man as he sat there knitting socks for the neighbor's newborn with his GF.

This changes everything, dead guy is from sandyeggo.:flipoff2:

It's clear that all but one of us are mostly in agreement regarding all but the finest of points of this situation.

So who's gonna call in a DV complaint at that one other guy's house?
