There are some hard core, ignorant posters in this thread. You sound worse than the Arabs (who LOVE a conspiracy theory) about everything being a false flag operation set up by some super squirrely, deep dark part of the government, but your crack ass is ONTO THEM. FFS, one nutjob with a firearm damn near took out a former, and potential future POTUS, because he was fucked in the head. Crazy people do crazy shit. Just like the guy who flew his airplane into the IRS building in TX and killed some poor secretary (registered Democrat) and that crazy eyed dipshit that shot Gabby Giffords (registered Democrat) or that cop that went nuts out in CA, killed some other cops and ran until he holed up and died in a fire (also a registered Democrat). Ole Hinkley wanted to impress Jodi Foster, look how that turned out. No idea WTF his thought process was on that one, but it was far from normal people's thought process.

How good are your eyes and how much have you practiced?

Think of being able to zero in on a cherry in the center of a white paper plate at 100 yards.

Most can see the paper plate but the cherry is blurry.
Those with exceptional eyes can zero in on the cherry.

Iron sites at 150 yds and hitting a 3” circle is an exceptional shot.
 
The thing I keep coming back to, The SS has snipers on the roof that is best to cover the crowd. (As they should) But what roof would be the best to shoot the speaker? Ding ding ding. They could have put one guy on that group of roofs. It didn’t even have to be a SS. It could just be a local deputy that would be thrilled to work with the SS.

Not particularly difficult on a range or out in a pasture.

Mike Morgan from Outdoors with the Morgans was at the rally.

He did a live stream after he got home and 100% said it was way to loud to hear a .22 and said it sounded like an AR.

I'd be stunned if it's not an AR. It's really the only rifle leftists are familiar with. Maybe a real wild card is that someone gave him a rifle at some point and he used that. If not, it'll be a sub $1,000 AR rifle.

A. I don't hate Trump. I think he's a jackass and a liar, but that doesn't = hate or a desire for him to be dead.

B. Just playing the same card I see around here on the regular. Make a claim of possibility that you know cannot be DISPROVEN. I don't think it's a false flag event, but no info we have access to proves it wasn't, same can be said that it was a Dem plot. Occam says it was a wacko.
