Fuck around and find out (Israel / Palestine version)

This is pretty much all I care about. A lot of our consistent issues in the Middle East stem from our unwavering support of all things Israel with a side dish of trying to control oil markets through whatever means necessary.

Well said. It is insane how badly Biden and the assholes in our government have fucked that corner of the world up. And it isnt over yet. Wait till Iran lights off their first test nuke.

This did not happen on Trump's watch.

Israel doubling down on their side propaganda. The boy was watching his kid video channel and a commercial came on that got my attention. "Never Again" a campaign from back post war evidently. Pretty direct infomercial basically.

Biden is PISSED about the aid workers, and he's going to have a call with BeBe today.

Wonder if they will release that call?

I feel bad for the families, but fuck... you were in Gaza... What exactly did you expect?

Biden slammed by Democrats and Republicans over response to Israeli airstrike that killed 7 aid workers in Gaza

President Biden has received criticism from Democrats and Republicans this week over his response to an Israeli airstrike that killed seven World Central Kitchen aid workers in Gaza on Monday.

On Tuesday, Biden, 81, said he was “outraged and heartbroken” over the deaths of the aid workers delivering food to Gaza’s population, but didn’t signal any change in approach to his administration’s backing of Israel in its war against Hamas.

The president, in his public statement, pinned the blame squarely on Israel, demanding an investigation that “must bring accountability” and accusing the Jewish state of not having “done enough to protect aid workers” in the Palestinian territory.

Privately, Politico reports, Biden is “enraged” over the airstrike and was “angry” when he was notified that the Israel Defense Forces mistakenly targeted members of celebrity chef Jose Andres’ humanitarian group.

Jon Favreau, a one time speechwriter for former President Barack Obama and the host of “Pod Save America,” slammed Biden over the report, arguing that private expressions of rage are not enough in the aftermath of Monday’s tragedy.

“The President doesn’t get credit for being ‘privately enraged’ when he still refuses to use leverage to stop the IDF from killing and starving innocent people,” Favreau wrote on X.

“These stories only make him look weak,” he added.

Favreau charged that reports of Biden’s refusal to pull back support Jewish state despite being privately enraged make him “look weak.” Roger
Democratic Michigan state Rep. Abraham Aiyash argued that “Deeds are more important than dialogue” in a tweet aimed at Biden.

“The President is prioritizing Netanyahu’s Israel over the preservation of innocent life and basic human decency – and risks unraveling American democracy because of it,” he added.

Meanwhile, some Republicans ripped the president for aiming his ire at Israel rather than Hamas.

“How about Biden being outraged over the American and Israeli hostages being brutalized by the Hamas savages and remembering that Hamas is the cause of all of this tragedy,” Rep. Derrick Van Orden (R-Wis.) fumed on X.

“Biden has abandoned Israel,” he added.

Rep. Mike Waltz (R-Fla.) noted that the Biden administration mistakenly targeted aid worker Zemari Ahmadi, killing him and members of his family in a drone strike as the US withdrew from Afghanistan in August 2021.

“REMINDER: The Biden Administration carried out a drone strike on an aid worker and his family during the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal,” Waltz tweeted.

“There was no accountability for that action.”

“Biden might want to hold off on the righteous indignation and criticism,” he added.

At least 196 humanitarian workers have been killed in Gaza since the outbreak of the war, according to the United Nations.

First Lady Jill Biden reportedly urging the president privately to end the war in Gaza: 'Stop, stop it now'

First Lady Jill Biden denies her husband is trailing in 2024 election polls on 'CBS Mornings'

First Lady Jill Biden has reportedly been privately urging President Biden to stop the war in Gaza, according to a conversation the president had with one of the attendees at a White House meeting with the Muslim community on Tuesday.

A guest at Biden's meeting told the president that his wife disapproved of him attending the event over the Israel-Hamas war, according to The New York Times.

"Mr. Biden replied that he understood. The first lady, he said, had been urging him to ‘Stop it, stop it now,’ according to an attendee who heard his remarks," the outlet reported.

The Times cited Salima Suswell, the founder of the Black Muslim Leadership Council, who witnessed the back and forth, and told the paper it was "striking" to hear that the first lady felt that way about the conflict.

Biden hosted a small event at the White House with Muslim administration staffers and leaders of the Muslim community, who also joined the president for a dinner to break the fast during the holy Islamic month of Ramadan.

The president faced several protest votes in the Wisconsin Democratic primary, as he continues to face criticism over his handling of the Israel-Hamas war.

In the primary, 8.4% of voters selected the "uninstructed" option rather than vote for President Biden, which amounted to almost 48,000 votes. Additionally, 17,553 votes, 3.1%, were cast for Democratic Rep. Dean Phillips, who is no longer in the race.

In Connecticut, the vote total for "uncommitted" was 11.5%, just under 8,000 votes. In Rhode Island, 14.9% of voters were "uncommitted," which totaled just under 4,000 votes.

BIDEN ADMIN AUTHORIZES BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN BOMBS, WARPLANES FOR ISRAEL: REPORT

The first lady was asked about the state of Biden's re-election campaign during an appearance on "CBS Mornings" on Wednesday, and was specifically questioned about a recent Wall Street Journal survey that found the Democratic incumbent trailing former President Trump in six of seven 2024 swing states.

CBS host Tony Dokoupil began asking the first lady about the polling results before she cut him off.

"No, he's not losing in all the battleground states. He's coming up," she said before the host could finish asking the question.

"He's even or doing better," she added. "You know what, once people start to focus in, and they see their two choices, it's obvious that Joe will win this election."

The first lady was also asked if she was at all worried about President Biden's re-election efforts, responding "no, no, no. I feel that Joe will be re-elected."

The referenced Wall Street Journal poll, released Tuesday, found that Trump is currently leading Biden in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Arizona, Georgia, Nevada and North Carolina — states that will play a crucial role in securing a win on the November ballot. The results found that Biden was tied with Trump in Wisconsin, but did not secure any leads in the battleground states survey.

Supposedly he told israel he wants an immediate cease fire. Not sure how I feel about that. Israel didn't start the war. Hamas is responsible to protect the civilians in gaza. Not israel. I feel bad for the Aid workers but It's a war.

IMHO hamas left the civilians out to be slaughtered to get word opinion to change against israel. Nobody ever calls for hamas to release hostages, protect their own citizens. Biden is not telling hamas that they get no money while they hold hostages. It's all israel's fault. Hamas are not our friends. And he is only doing this because of the protesters and his poll numbers.

Israel tried the cease fire not too long ago. Then Hamas started firing rockets into Israel again. Fuck'um.

Not sure they left them out so much as possibly forced some to stay.
Israel has sent millions of texts, calls, fliers ahead of attacks to urge non-fighters to leave.
That hinders any military operation, to warn your enemy ahead of time, yet they did it to be nice and give those people a chance.
That's not how you do genocide. Seems they try to be sensible in their approach and at this point they should not let up and keep pressing until the last threat is gone. Or else they will never know peace.

Cease fire now = guaranteed repeated death of your people in the near future, and forver.

Even more than that. Hamas leaders have announced publicly that they feel no responsibility for the palestinians. Much of the political discussion is based on an understanding that Hamas is approaching this situation like a govt institution. Hamas has proven over and over that despite the Palistinians electing them to leadership that they dont care about the country or its people. And the Palestinians have been so indoctrinated that recent surveys show 90% solid support the Hamas raid into Isreal to rape/pillage.

Isreal should rock massive holes in the Egypt border walls and push/herd the Palistinians and Hamas through. Then brick the wall back up.

In my imagination, when Biden calls up demanding a Cease Fire, BeBe replies... "Sure...we will stop Wednesday at 10:00AM we will stop" and the nukes drop at Wednesday at 9:00AM

Israel will continue to ignore world opinion, ours included, and finish Hamas as they publicly stated since the first day. Every national government except Iran secretly cant wait for Israel to sterilize this stain upon humanity. Hezbollah is next.

Every side putting out their own story without the other sides input is propaganda. I'm not taking sides either way but if the IDF turned Gaza into a field of glass, wouldn't fault them. That clear it up for you?

Israel is unique. What other nation was created for largely immigrants out of international guilt for a travesty? Like all y'all native Arabs, sucks for you but these folks got a really raw deal and their fairy tales say this land is theirs so... oh well. It's theirs now. Best of luck to y'all I guess.
What's the west Africa country, capital Monrovia or Monroeville or some such?

There's been many nations created similarly, Israel isn't so unique

Best quote out there :smokin: good for waltz, that needs to be brought up every time as well.

There is a war going on that biden could probably end within a week just a little bit north though....

Okay...who fired the first shot? When a cease fire was called, who ended by firing first? Who has hostages again?
