'84 Bronco II
El Chingón
That looks like cast aluminum. I can't imagine it being anything else.
It could be magnesium, but I would bet it's aluminum. Only really important if you are trying to weld to it

I also thought it was cast aluminum but the texture on every other piece of cast aluminum on the truck was smooth and this was not. The color was different also. It just threw me off.

The axles are made for Dana in China, no surprise they don't match anything else.

I helped my FIL pull a 6.2/6l80e out a 2010 escalade a while back, I went to move the "tcase" (awd) and about threw it through the roof, it's the size of a 241 or bigger but weighs almost nothing. I noticed the little MG stamp on it, but I swear it feels like there couldn't be steel gears inside.
I wanted to light it on fire in the desert, but Wilson claimed it for a supposed rat rod project.
Looks like Ford lied about being able to get the manual with the big tire packages.
About what I would expect from Ford.
They said it just wont be one of the first ones built and you will be able to still order it when your appointment comes up.

So the Bronco is just an Edge with different badging?

youre just a butt hurt lil dodge parts manager that thinks hes important, ford is vastly superior to your shit mopar
Priced out a fully loaded badlands up here, $80k out the door after taxes and whatnot...little rich for a Ford and an off road vehicle that will get dinged up.
Bullshit. I just built a 4 door Badlands on Fords website with the most expensive combination of options and $9,299 worth of factory offered accessories (bike racks, off road recovery kits, ARB fridge, etc.) and the total came out to $70,539 MSRP. You would have to be semi-retarded to even spec one out how I did to even get the price that high. Regardless, why would you buy a "fully loaded" anything if you are worried about price and dinging it up off road
Building a 2 door Badlands the way I would if it were my money came out to $43,000 which is within $1,000 of what I got building and pricing a 2 door Rubicon on Jeep's website. The real value comes in adding a Sasquatch package to a base model if you are looking for off road performance per dollar. The 2 door base model I priced out with the Sasquatch package came out almost identically priced to a 2 door JL sport I priced on Jeep's website, but you get lockers, gears, 35" mud tires, and the same axles Jeep puts in the Rubicon with the Bronco at that price Really, the only things you miss out on with a base Sasquatch vs. the Badlands is the disconnecting sway bar and the Bilstein 5150-looking shocks. I think the Bronco is going to force Jeep to offer more off road options outside the Rubicon package to stay competitive with the Bronco.
"up here" aka Canada which includes 13% sales tax. So fuck your bullshit.
Well, post your location if you're gonna bitch.... for context and shit, y'know
