Ford Bronco Release date set

I didn’t see an option for a manual with the Sasquatch..

seems priced on par with the JL. On my wish list for sure

Yea any time I pick the Sasquatch it wants to put in the auto. Best I've gotten with a manual is just adding a rear locker, as soon as I say I want a 4.7 vs the 4.46 ratio it wants to throw me at the sasquatch and remove the manual transmission. The locker doesn't appear to have a cost associated to it when I'm building which was a little strange to me... There are other things like I click the power outlet option and it wants to throw me in the mid package and remove the manual transmission, not sure why I have to have an automatic to have a USB and a 110V in the back but the configurator thinks I do. Badlands with a manual and rear locker and paint film protection I'm at $37,840

"up here" aka Canada which includes 13% sales tax. So fuck your bullshit.

Right, because "up here" clearly indicates that you are talking about Canukistan and your weaker commie dollars :flipoff2: You guys seriously pay 13% sales tax? Screw that noise.

The Badlands already has front and rear lockers and 4.7 axle gears, as well as some other off road hardware that doesn't come in the Sasquatch package, so that is probably why there wasn't an up-charge for the locker  I've noticed quite a few errors and typos in the build and price tool without really looking for them, so I am not surprised there is some goofy stuff going on.

I had it in my mind that I wants a sasquatch badlands manual but the more I look at it the sasquatch only adds a 1" lift, 35s, and beadlock capable rims. Being that i want 37s I'm thinking about just waiting for whatever 2-3" performance lift hits the market and skipping out on the $2500 sasquatchness

I agree, the Sasquatch package doesn't make as much sense on a Badlands since It is $2,500 for essentially a tire and wheel package, but the Badlands already has 33" Goodyear M/Ts or BFG A/Ts, so it isn't really much of an upgrade for all that coin. I would rather go aftermarket with that money towards better parts.

A stock badlands

Damn. I was hoping I could just do options. I'd love it if I could get one with out all the fancy dash shit. I want a basic radio (with bluetooth and aux, of course), and guages for everything.

The rest of the shit can be manual, with a plain jane interior.

The badlands is as basic/functional as it gets. Hose out floors with drain plugs, manual waterproof vinal seats, crappiest electronics package offered, ect. But has front and rear lockers, 4.70 gears, 3-1 tcase, electronic disco sway bars, 2.3l turbo engine, 7spd manual trans...

hmmmm..... that's what I want then.

I wonder if I can find one in a year or so. :smokin:

Ford.ca, can't get a block heater. Ford.com, sure, no problem.

And just how heavy are the roof racks and bash plates? Can have one or the other but not both.

Sticking with the base model, Sasquatch, V6,. Added switches and bumper/skid plate combo and still under goal of 40k.
Also found this size comparison on ig.

I just cancelled my reservation on a 2 door base model. After the once again push out of release its like congrats ford you failed to deliver once again. I think I rather start looking at C7 Corvettes and maybe put the Camaro up for sale. And possibly get a AWD Rogue as a daily. Apparently the cancellations are coming in by the hundreds because of the Covid excuse. No one wants to wait till Sept or even 2022 for a new SUV.

I'm keeping my reservation for now but am looking at other options

I read a post elsewhere by someone working for a vendor that is claiming that the issue is really with the removable top system is giving them fits with no solution in sight.

Ford is going to fuck themselves big time with this one......

The longer you let someone think about a bad decision before they make it the more likely they are to come to their senses and change their minds.

:homer:

Exactly. This seems to be the industry standard every time *the next big thing* is announced these days.

The Tesla Model 3 comes to mind. By the time you could actually buy one it already seemed dated.
