Lol it is what it is. My Fastenal guys were new to the shipping deal. We don’t do this much. They receive a ton more than they send.
 
Working on another batch of jaw die retainers this afternoon.

Tomorrow I’ll get another sheet of 1/2” cut for the side plates. Hopefully I’ll get the rest of you guys knocked off my list here pretty quickly.

Table was free and makes a good slot welding table for something like this. I can use my mill hold down clamps to make sure nothing moves during welding. I wouldnt mind a larger slot table from a cnc but not taking apart my cnc while it still works.

I met him at Fabtech a few years back. His personality is exactly what he is on youtube. I'm pretty sure he just got tired of being an ironworker and decided to figure out how to make money being himself.

I can watch his videos all day. Sick of the titan like personalities that are pushed now day. His website is just painful for my wallet since the product actually works well.

Good to know. I was wondering about that- he seems like a 10yo boy set loose in a big boy shop with big boy skills. It would suck if that was a stage persona, and he's actually a dick.

I stopped by his table to pick up a square. It was halfway through the second day and he was still full on energy with half their products already cleared out. Took the time to go over which one would work best for me, comp'd shipping since the one that was recommended they were out of stock on. Probably took 30 minutes out of a busy day to sell me one stupid square.

Of course it worked and I now have several...

I haven't even used mine on a project yet 🤣

I designed a project in CAD, squares would be useful so I bought them in advance. Now I have 6 and need to start the project. They might get their first use on the vise
 
Cutting more plate out tonight. Need to get a few jaws done then I can get a bunch more sent out for you guys.

My little brother missed his calling as a manual nester lol.

Its almost a art form if you dont have a program to auto nest the parts.

Last work place had a Cincinnati laser system that included a nesting program inside the laser computer. That thing was amazing. Generate mulitple sheets from all the parts and still save a template of what was left of each sheet if you wanted.
 
I want one but I have no time, money, space or use for one but these are damn cool 😄
 
i Just realized i never bought the amazon vise jaws. Does anyone know which ones were the ones that lined up with the Fuhrers jaw flats?

Yeah I have you on the list added a bunch of people who pm’d me the past few weeks. I’ll get it posted later in the week.
 
Now I have plenty of time to build this thing up but no mill for the next 2-3 weeks while I run my yearly quota of parts.

If I only got the McMaster order going...
