Fasting - Who does it?

I'm thinking about going back to OMAD for calorie restriction, just needing to be good about macros in that one meal.
OMAD is what really helped me when I lost my first 20-25 pounds. I started eating twice a day again once I was lifting more. Now I'm at a point where I think I might go back to one so I can cut another 10-12 pounds and get to my 50 pound loss goal.
 
For the past month and half. I have gone about 14 -16 hour fast every day. I will eat (3 cans in water) tuna fish salad with crackers. Then eat a some what decent meal around 6pm. If it's me I will eat about 12 ounce steak. If I have dad with me, it's not as healthy.

I am not loosing any weight. I am wondering what I am doing wrong. Slowly starting back hitting the gym.

You guys have any ideas what I am doing wrong?
 
Count calories for a week, count everything, weigh if you dont have good understanding. Report back

Or just explain what your eating in detail
 
I am still do the 18/6 most days. I have had some weeks where I dont do as well (work travel, etc) but am still down 15 pounds or so.

I really like how it makes me feel

Tuna and steak wont make you fat bit a box of crackers every day wont help.

Age, weight, how active? How much did you eat daily before this?

47, 295 @ 6'4 , very active, walk a shit ton working on forklifts and walkie stackers.

Then doing odd and stuff around my house or dad's. Mostly get about 5-6 hours of good sleep a night on average.
245-250 is a good weight for me.

3 meals a day. Then started cutting the gas station breakfast sandwich out. Then started taking my lunch. I currently do not know my current average calorie intake.

There are times I feel lighter. i have cut out soft drinks, drink water and lipton diet green tea. I'm starting to wonder if that may be part of the problem.

I lost about 40 lbs 2023, then kinda hit recomp. I have about 40 more lbs to lose for weight goal, so mixing it up a little. I'm not chasing the number, but it puts me to a great starting point for endurance (and easy on my knees) and helping with lifts and runs/rucks

Something is fucked up in my intestine, black rectangle says that it might be diverticulitis. So instead of going to a doctor and wasting 100s of dollars, internet says to only have clear liquids for three days then start broths then eazy to digest foods.

I would rather not eat for three days than go to the doctor :homer:.

Don’t fuck around too long. If it continues just go get the scope, it’s not that bad
 
I gots diverticulosis, had diverticulitis put me in the hospital for 3 days... bled out my ass too much, passed out in my my trailer bano. Thankfully my son heard me land in the shower stall and called his mom who called 911. Fukkin demoralizing situation and shocked my boy pretty good. That shit can get real nasty, hope you skirt the shit :beer:
 
36 hrs into a 72 hr fast.
Are you starving and only able to think about food? My last post in here. I did a 48 hour. Then ate only protein on one day. Then a second 48 hour fast again after that one day. It fixed whatever the problem was.

Not really. I was kind of hungry yesterday at lunch and yesterday before bed at 9:30 pm.
