Fasting - Who does it?

ok that went to shit, my whole family showed up yesterday. house filled up with food and family like it was thanksgiving. so im on OMAD till monday.
Did you ever catch a buzz?

I usually get a buzz by around lunchtime
 
Handful of pecans and a little fruit juice for tonight. Other than that, 24 hours since my last meal. Gonna see if I can hold out while I'm stuck all day at the apartment filled with food.

Any prep before fasting?
No prep. I was quite stuffed after last night's steak dinner at FD's steakhouse. Only had the pecans to tide me over a tad while my stomach says it wants more.

In my younger years, I had no problem skipping food for two or three days. Mostly because I didn't even think about while I stayed busy working on cars. Nowadays, I barely get to work on what I want to.

i did OMAD the last 4 days, dropped 5 pounds. may just keep it up.

On day two of a 3 day’r. Did good yesterday till I needed to go to sleep. Was tough to get passed out, all I could think about was food. Stomach is a lot less annoying this morning

Ok I’m breaking my fast tomorrow, 5 days is my longest yet. I felt pretty good all week. But I do miss eating. I bought some nice ribeyes on the way home today.
 
Ive been doing the one meal a day thing now for 3ish weeks. Most nights im having 2 burger patties and 2-3 eggs. 2 nights ive had a carne asada burrito with no rice, and 1 night a double cheeseburger with a bun. Tonight it was a chicken thigh, 2 eggs, and a small (handfull of salad). Im still having my morning sugar free rockstar, a cup of coffee or 2, and at a minimum one of the large gas station bottles of water plus maybe 2 glasses in the evening.

I wrote all that out because im wondering why I lost 7-8lbs right away and then have been holding 190. I could easily be 165 and still have a healthy spare tire around my waste.... so what gives? The way I figure it ive been having right around 1000 calories a day.

That first 7 lbs was bloat or water weight. You'll have a stall of 2 or 3 weeks before your actually turning stored fat into food.

You should drink more water. Buy 4 Nalgene bottles and drink them every day.

Hopefully:lmao: I feel fine and its gotten fairly easy but it sucks seeing the same number on the scale every day.

Kick the Rockstars, they are still fucking you up even though they are sugar free.
Last week I did omad, working my ass off and lost 10lbs, I'm hovering 200. I've only been drinking tonic water, water and bloom during the day. It seems like any sugar or fake sugar will fuck up your fat burning.

Don’t weigh yourself every day, that’s torture. And also, you can be making muscle mass while losing fat and have it look like a stall out. Measure your waste size once a week and only weigh yourself at that time. Do the really weird feeling selfie in the mirror in your underwear once a week. It might not look like anything on the scale while your physique is changing steadily. I just watched a friend (she) go from being a flabby depressed mom to entering a body building competition in like 7 months. Says she weighs about the same. She way does not look the same!

When I was dieting hard and running I took my picture once a week and could compare the change.

Not being stupid strict; broth, milk, and coffee with cream. And a little over a gallon of water a day.

May need to eat a few eggs tonight.

Think I've dropped about 15 lbs so far, most of that being water. Joints feel amazing, mental clarity is great. The diarrhea, not so much.

After my five day er two days later I ate a snickers, I almost died. It made me so sick.
