I guess I don’t watch enough recent tv to have seen it. Pretty sure there was a Seinfeld episode about it 30 years ago though. Other than that I can’t think of it being on tv.

Between what I've noticed, slight increase, and what I've heard from other people talking about shows that also bring it up leads me to say it's increasing.
