That is a good question. But is it common practice to leave the valves in for that job? I'd be stripping everything out of it. :confused:

Holy shit. Do they rotate? On another board we went on PAGE AFTER PAGE about that and I had people stacking on me saying I was wrong about them rotating. :laughing:
 
There's actually valves that are keyed so they don't.... Not used in anything normal though.

But just because it protrudes past the head does not mean it will hit the piston. Some pistons have valve dishes for a reason. :confused:
