I was low key rooting for Trump and hoping Kamala would face plant. It was the opposite. Trump was a fucking disaster. Yeah, it was 3 on 1. You had to know that going in. But Trump was the rambling, ranting lunatic they wanted to bait him into being. He got played by a half wit. Sorry.

Kamala was definitely prepared. She had a whole bunch of lines memorized. Nobody was telling her what to say word by word, but they could have said something like “this is a good point to say the Charlottesville line” or “divisive country speach”.

I agree that both did not answer all the questions. The difference is we all know what Trump is about. Harris should have been enlightening us about her. While Harris is pretty much the same as every other politician, Trump is the only non-politician. I’m ready for him to come back. If you can’t see that, I give you more credit than your due.

Hey dip shit, I already acknowledged that Trump didn't do great. I already know kamala sucked so thats not news either. Your TDS prevents you from real objectivity because you conveniently ignore the rigged debate and moderators impact in bringing Trump down and propping kamal up. So its not an accurate comparison in their performances.

You're right. If people were paying attention to what was going on, Trump had an uphill battle in that debate and Kamala got soft balls lobbed to her. Most people aren't looking for that however. There are a huge amount of voters that already have TDS- they got it through sheer osmosis of living in close proximity to others who have it too, who get saturated with it daily, and whose echo chamber is completely sealed. They all live right on top of each other in high density cities, and interact with each other with very high level of frequency in condos/apartment buildings, on mass transit on their way to work, and squeezed into cubicles in office buildings. They all share the same memes with each other, watch the same TV shows because everyone else in the office or the apartment complex talked them up, and all just slowly start to believe the same thing. There are a shit ton of them and in very specific areas of the map. Check it out and compare it to a US population density map:

If you want to have some sort of change from the direction we've been going, someone is going to have to break the cycle and get those people to notice. In the last debate, they were not looking for unfairness. They were looking to stroke their confirmation bias, and sagely nod their head and think to themselves "This is going exactly how I thought it would go." all the while not realizing they didn't think how it would go at all, they were told over and over again by the news, coworkers, friends, family, TV shows, etc. These people have almost zero idea where their food comes from other than a grocery store. They have zero idea what it takes to build the infrastructure they live in every day, or where those materials come from or how much those materials even cost. Most of them don't own their own business and have no idea what it takes to keep employees employed, covered with health insurance, and safe. I heard a gen-z reporter on the radio this morning investigate if the reasons prices were so high was because the big bad corporations raised prices and are making record profits. She started with grocery store items and was surprised to find that food manufacture's margins actually went down when the cost of materials went up. What a concept. She was forced to admit that perhaps this was all more complicated than she initially thought.

If Trump wants to break out of their expectations, he has to do something extraordinary. He has to toss out facts that sound credible enough for people to look them up for themselves and question why Kamala is shaking her head that they're not true. He as to stay on message and check his ego at the door, so when someone baits him with shit like crowd sizes at rallies, he just lets it roll off his back and hits her with some more cold hard facts. Until that happens, it doesn't matter what you or I believe, because all those people living on top of one another believe that Trump is a failure and a threat to democracy.

I try to watch these with an honest no bias view, and it's not easy.

It's was really shit for both. I'm probably harder on Trump because I see missed opportunity's. I do support him, and I hope he works with the team forming around him.

Trump misses tons of opportunities and goes off in the weeds far to much. I don't know if he just doesn't understand things below surface level or thinks people aren't smart enough or care to hear it. His abortion stance is rock solid and he defends it well. Needs more of that.

K- he will kill Medicare!
T- illegals are killing billions! When he should say the burden of supporting illegals will break it.

Kamala has no substance. Typical political salesmanship, ill make your life better vote for me. Dodges questions and I found came off as over rehearsed and unlikeable I don't know if I pick up on it more than others though.

Overall I think there are no independents in this election.

I had a conversation with a factory worker the other day. Puerto Rican guy from a liberal family thats received assistance from community housing programs, influenced by community leaders and such. He's going to register to vote for the first time. His only concern is the economy. If that's an anomaly not we will soon see.

I'm pretty sure I've looked at it objectively. I have given credit where credit is due, and called out bullshit when I've seen it, and there's a lot of it to see these days. Some folks around here are just the other side of the DeNero/Baldwin coin, just blindly cheering for their guy due to the hate of the other side.

I was banging on FJC11 because he was questioning my prediction that both sides would be spouting word salad, and that was mostly true, more true for Trump in this case.

And Animalmother, just because it's so easy to get under his skin and he likes to call me a faggot poser, all the while he's gobbling that orange cock.

Ya'll better get ready for Madam President, her war chest is much bigger than DJT's, and her electorate doesn't seem to care that she is only making blind promises with no plan to enact them.

IMO he could walk into a setup and still do well if all he did was talk about his policies vs hers. Trump's policies are good and make logical sense. So much so that Kamala has started copying him on a lot of them.
