What's the end goal to that? Destruction of the middle class?

Yep just like you cant have an example of America as a whole successful and global shit hole countries in the toilet. Everyone needs to suck. My total opinion

Can't argue with those things. I might be because I'm in the entrenched liberal bastion of California, but I'm worried because I see a lot of people here not even considering Trump while at the same time they complain about the economy. With a lot of people here, there's still some sort of stigma(unfounded or not) that Trump is a racist misogynist and that somehow makes everything else not worth consideration. Hopefully other parts of the country are going a different way.
Not that I expect it to be a meaningful number, let alone enough for Trump to win CA, but I bet there's a decent number of people even there still vocal about Trump who will vote for him and not tell anyone. I certainly wouldn't look for California to be representative of the country as a whole.

But, there's talks of him possibly winning places like NJ, NY, or IL which would be unthinkable 4 years ago. Not holding my breath but I think he's got a much larger lead than what any poll on a national network is going to show you.

Looking at how major institutions act, including the parties, will tell you a lot more about what's going vs any polling. Corporate America is silently moving away from things like DEI initiatives and pushing "green" narratives, they're slowly distancing themselves from politics. Everything the Democratic party has done in the last year just reeks of desperation as they've lost all control of narratives. Most of the court cases against Trump have fallen apart, backfired, or generally made him more popular. The White House has had to walk back it's border policy because it's been so wildly unpopular with their base, especially among Hispanics who came here to escape the people they're just letting in and treating better. I think Kamala/Waltz ended up on the ticket because they literally had no other choice. They couldn't hold Biden together and no one else was dumb enough to stick themselves into the center of the shitshow the Dems have created for themselves. Neither Kamala or Waltz have anything to lose, both their careers were over if they weren't in the position they're in now and Biden hadn't completely fallen apart.

What's the end goal to that? Destruction of the middle class?
Sort of. Destruction of Western culture and replacement of existing voter bases with people who are easier to manipulate and destruction of the petrodollar. There's a reason all this diversity and unchecked immigration from the third world is being forced solely on North America and Europe. That's been the goal behind the UN since it was created. Motivations are the same as they ever were or ever will be, these people want nothing but absolute control and wealth. The Dems aren't communists, they use a lot of leftist and socialist rhetoric to appeal to the far left, but in reality they're corporatists and authoritarians, left/right politics and the type of economy we have are irrelevant to them as long as they maintain control. Power will always seek to expand itself and gain control of whatever it can to keep growing itself regardless of whether or not it's done intentionally or centrally. That's just the natural state of governnance and authority because absolute power corrupts absolutely.

It's difficult to believe America would reject Clinton in 2016 but embrace Kamala 2% in the primaries Harris in 2024.

I think a lot of it was the extreme confidence that Hillary was going to win in a landslide in 2016. That the race is felt to be so close, will mean that more efforts will be made from both sides.

Anyone wondering why the .gov would ship 20k Haitians to an Ohio county of 60k people? Sure seems a little odd doesn't it?
I know one thing that makes sense........use the Haitians to create ballots that can be used to cheat.

Haitian ‘Voter Fraud’ Operation Busted in Springfield, Ohio

An investigation has uncovered an illegal voter registration form operation taking place in Clark County after thousands of Haitians flooded the Springfield area in Ohio. Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose is now warning election boards to be vigilant as voter fraud continues to be a major issue in America.

In a media advisory, the secretary of state’s office noted:

“The office’s Election Integrity Unit recently concluded an investigation into the origins of an illegal voter registration form translated into the Haitian Creole language. The Clark County Board of Elections reported this form to our office after rejecting its submission by a local applicant.”

Director of investigations for the Secretary of State’s Public Integrity Division, Hun Yi, said in a memo:

“The Board confirmed they’ve only received one of these unauthorized forms, but they rightly recognized it as illegal and worked with my team to track down its source with the help of a county government assistance office.”

“The form was erroneously included among others outsourced to a foreign language translation service. It garnered national attention considering the high number of Haitian refugees that have recently migrated to the Springfield area, and it serves as an important reminder that boards and designated voter registration agencies should be vigilant about the use of forms submitted to their office,” Yi added.

As many as 30,000 illegal migrants from Haiti have moved into the small town of Springfield, Ohio, after the Biden-Harris administration extended Temporary Protected Status to 300,000 Haitians earlier this year. Following the migration, Springfield’s population jumped from 60,000 to more than 80,000 overnight, putting a massive strain on hospitals, schools, and social services.

LaRose’s press release noted the ongoing investigation into “evidence of a pattern of fraudulent voter registration activity in multiple counties under the paid employment of a group called Black Fork Strategies. “

According to Black Fork’s website, its goal is “building long-term progressive power” through canvassing and voter registration.

In August, LaRose’s office referred several election fraud cases involving Black Fork for prosecution.

“Prosecutors in 20 counties received referrals for violations involving petition forms to grant minor party status, petition forms to place a constitutional amendment regarding redistricting on the November ballot, and fraudulent voter registration forms submitted by canvassers working on behalf of Black Fork Strategies LLC,” his office said.

“The office’s Election Integrity Unit has been working to build the referrals to assist each county prosecutor with successful enforcement of the law, including criminal charges.”

According to the director of elections for Hamilton County, Sherry Poland, the board of elections uncovered several instances of fraud, including a “stack of registration forms” with identical handwriting submitted by a Black Fork canvasser.

Hamilton County Board of Elections member and chairman of the Ohio Republican Pary, Alex Trianfaflou, said, “The first thing I want to point out is, you know, we use words like ‘anomalies,’ ‘suspicion,’ and everything else because we try to be PC, I guess. But this is fraud, outright fraudulent behavior.”

“Who’s responsible or how they’re responsible, that will be up to somebody other than me,” he added. “It’s plain and obvious to me when you get this many registration cards with the very same handwriting that someone is trying to defraud the elections process in Hamilton County.”

Canvassers using non-English speaking individuals for their own advantage is nothing new. Last year, LaRose announced the referral of 597 non-citizens for prosecution after they were found to have either registered to vote or cast a ballot illegally. The number highlights the ongoing efforts by Ohio’s Republican leadership to combat voter fraud.

Yi said in the press release on Thursday:

“All county boards should be vigilant about the integrity of registration forms submitted by any public or private entity, especially third-party groups hiring paid operatives who often work on a bounty system based on the quantity, not quality, of their work.”
“This is a reminder to all of our elections officials to be vigilant as we enter the final weeks of voter registration eligibility for the 2024 general election,” LaRose warned.

“We’re continuing to aggressively pursue third-party groups and paid canvassers who’ve been submitting fraudulent registration forms, and we’re cracking down on the use of illegal forms that aren’t authorized by my office as the law requires. These investigations are happening even as we continue to broaden the enforcement of Ohio’s constitutional citizenship voting requirement.”

That debate should have been a cakewalk for DJT. He knows those issues. He knows his stance. He knows how to talk about it. He didn't prepare, he let his emotions flare and he didn't take her seriously.

It isn't hard to stay on message if you did some debate prep.

Serious question: when you're the target of lawfare, can you carve out enough free time to prepare for a debate? Just wondering how significant those prosecutorial forks of the7-year ongoing multi-pronged attack were.

He's been on the defense for almost 8 years. If...if he's re-elected, I hope he goes scorched earth on their asses.

He's already said he's not interested in going after any of these people. Frankly he doesn't have the time to, he'll at best get 4 years and it will be an uphill battle trying to right the ship to any degree and I'd rather see him focus on that and setup for 8 years of someone like Vivek or Vance to continue that and then go after who they can. Unfortunately a lot of these people that deserve to be in fucking prison will likely die before then.

Biden to a degree has gotten what he deserves. Yeah, the shitbag finally got to be President but history will remember him as one of, if not the worst President in history and his mind is so far gone he didn't even get to enjoy what he spent his life working towards. He got there just in time to be a puppet, watch his family and last living son be exposed, and his legacy fall apart all as his mind failed him and his party cast him aside the second he stopped being useful. He wasted his life being a shitbag chasing a dream he never got to enjoy. He basically wasted his entire life. He might never see legal justice, but he certainly saw some sort of cosmic poetic justice and I wouldn't be surprised if his son takes a hell of a fall for him before the end.

I see Biden staying in office long enough to pardon Hunter. I wonder if the pardon could happen before the election and then they could boot Biden under the 25th Amendment and make Kamala the president right before election day to get the final boost.

Somehow I don't see that helping more than it hurts. The optics of that are fucking terrible to all but the most retarded of people who were going to vote for her anyway. Incumbent status is about as relevant as VP status is these days. VP's haven't follow their Presidents in office in decades.

I think sentencing for Hunter is after the election but before Joe wanders off into the sunset. So he'll pardon Hunter as his last bad move in office.

The stated reason for mass importation of people to Springfield is actually the same reason nationally and in Europe. It was not growing.

Our Birth rate is below replacement levels and our social programs are legal ponzi schemes predicated on constant growth of GDP. EVERYONE sees the collapse of western civilization coming and instead of adjusting spending to achieve balance the plan is to shove more people with higher birth rates into the system. What they can't conceptualize is that the people they are bringing in have religious, political, and societal differences that mean it will take generations to get them to hold their share of the pyramid, if they ever do. This is in addition to the Democratic party believing that it can import future voters, but that part is obvious.

The people in charge are chasing GDP and power all else is collateral damage.

I keep hearing from many sources that that the malicious moderation of the debate is becoming bigger news than the relative performance of both candidates, to Trump's benefit.

Is this just happening on the right, or is this a more widespread attitude? Even my lefty friend at work said the moderators were biased.

I don't know how anyone could think that they WEREN'T biased. It was absurdly obvious.

'It just exploded': Springfield woman claims she never meant to spark false rumors about Haitians

it is not even being covered in the regular outlets (abc, nbc, cbs) I think they think the moderation wasn't the issue with the performances.

I did see a q and a between DJT and Johnathan Karl today where he pressed DJT on the pets question and Trump said that that didn't matter what mattered was the border. I thought, too bad he didn't say that at the debate.

I think the moderator thing is kind of like blaming the umps after a controversial call... to the people rooting for the team who lost, it is a HUGE deal, to everyone else, not so much.

Trump was a shit show in the debate. The moderation being so based was honestly a saving grace for him to give him something to cling to. Of course, he's being as Trumpian as possible about it though.

Now the Pope is weighing in. I hope he checked with Taylor Swift first.

Rome — Pope Francis weighed in Friday on the options for voters in the 2024 U.S. presidential election, indicating to reporters on the papal plane as he returned from a marathon Asia trip that both Vice President Kamala Harris and her Republican challenger, former President Donald Trump, are, in his opinion, "against life."

Asked by CBS News what he would advise a Catholic voter forced to choose between a candidate who backs abortion rights and one who has said he would have 11 million migrants deported, the pope said: "They are both against life — the one who throws away migrants and the one who kills children."

The pope addressed the topics, both of which featured prominently in the presidential debate between Harris and Trump on Tuesday night, as he spoke with journalists on a flight from Singapore to Jakarta, making his way back to Rome from a 12-day, 20,000 mile tour of Asia and the Pacific.

Asked whether there were any circumstances under which it would be morally permissible for a Catholic to vote for a candidate who does support abortion rights, Francis said when considering political morality, "one must vote."

"One must choose the lesser of two evils," he said. "Who is the lesser of two evils, that lady or that gentleman, I do not know."
