Current Events and Bible Prophecy

So here is a thought, these things predicted in the end times. They will happen, there is no doubt.

But do you think we can, or have delayed them ever?

For example, things like inserted Chips, barcodes, debit cards, now digital IDs. What many think is mark of the beast. (though it is not) They say it is coming then people are refusing to participate so it doesn't happen and they refuse it somewhat because they think it is mark of the best and sign of the end times.

Along the same lines as people throughout history have felt they were in the end times. Do you think they could have been? and maybe it got delayed?

For instance Sodom and Gomorrah, God sent angles to destroy it, yet Lot fought to prevent their destruction. In the end he did not prevent it, but he did delay it. See what I am thinking?
 
No. I don't think that humans can affect the timeline. I believe that God in His sovereignty chose this reality out of the infinite number of paths for one underlying purpose: to give everyone who ever lived the best chance to choose Him.

"The God who made the world and everything that is in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made by hands; nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things; and He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation, that they would seek God, if perhaps they might feel around for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us;" - Acts 17:24-27
 
This fits right in with what I think the Antichrist's "kingdom" will look, sound and feel like. The first 3 1/2 years will likely be a period of the greatest (artificial) peace the world has ever seen.

What I find interesting is while throughout the video series, the narrator has been speaking against a "Satanic Cabal" that is (according to the video) literally sacrificing children to Lucifer/Lillith, in the 10th video she is unknowingly proclaiming the coming of the Antichrist. We can find Bible verses that speak about what the Antichrist will do and she's going through them like a checklist without even realizing it.

Yes, the entire world (minus true Christians) will celebrate the arrival of the Antichrist, his government and his currency as he purges the "evil cabal" from the world.

I hesitate to post this, mostly because a lot of what is shown in the videos seems too incredible to believe; however, if even 10% of these videos are true, it is even easier to see how "the Cabal" is the Whore of Babylon. As it says in Revelation 18:23 "for by thy [Babylon] sorceries were all nations deceived." Interesting the word "sorceries" here is the Greek word "pharmakeia" (1. the use or administering of drugs 2. poisoning 3. sorcery 4. deceptions and seductions of idolatry).

If the Whore of Babylon is the Cabal as I have postulated, then what is revealed in these videos shows how the Cabal has "decieved the nations" using drugs, poisoning, deceptions and even sorcery ("mind control" a.k.a. Mainstream Media's brainwashing).

They're each about a 1/2 an hour, but she talks slow so you can easily speed up the video to 1.5x or even 2x if you're an east-coaster or highly visual. :laughing:

Awful lot of "could be" and "some believe" and "some think" in that video

I think the video is trying to get us to clamp onto a cold barb. LOL

So based on his theory the end times cannot happen without soccer. LOL

Seems like he skipped over a couple parts of the end times there. Still cool to hear.
 
IIRC, the "place a marker by the body (or portion thereof) and let the 'professional buriers' dispose of it" is right out of the U.S. Army Field Manual for dealing with corpses and body parts following a chemical, biological or nuclear attack.

Personally I still think the "hook in the jaw" will be the destruction of Damascus by Israel.

It has all been written.
The key to all of it is right under our noses should we see it.

I am having a hard time finding the quote, but basically it says that evil doings have to be made available for those who wish to see.
We aren’t being denied the truth of our world but we have to wise up to understand what it’s saying and to be aware of it.
Just because we deny something doesn’t mean it’s not true.

Basically what is happening from Hollywood and the movies is foretelling the future from a biblical stance.
It’s like they can’t throw the biblical eschatology in our face enough. It’s become a joke to them, but it’s so real to those with eyes to see.

Movies from decades ago elude to exactly what we are experiencing today. That’s not luck.

The Antichrist will be a uniter, not a divider; 44, 45 and 46 have all been divisive. IMO, what we are seeing is an artificial darkness, that is Satan is working to make the world so horrible that when his Antichrist shows up on the scene everyone, everywhere, of all classes and races will embrace him as he will bring an "end" to this darkness (at least for a little while).

Thinking Fast and Slow talks about the concept of "anchors":

In an experiment conducted some years ago, real-estate agents were given an opportunity to assess the value of a house that was actually on the market. They visited the house and studied a comprehensive booklet of information that included an asking price. Half the agents saw an asking price that was substantially higher than the listed price of the house; the other half saw an asking price that was substantially lower. Each agent gave her opinion about a reasonable buying price for the house and the lowest price at which she would agree to sell the house if she owned it. The agents were then asked about the factors that had affected their judgment. Remarkably, the asking price was not one of these factors; the agents took pride in their ability to ignore it. Essentially people can be lead a certain direction by purposefully exaggerating a number or experience. If you have a teenager listening to music too loudly in their room and you walk in and yell (over the music) for them to turn it down to a "reasonable level" you'll find that they might turn it down a little, but not quite what you would consider "reasonable" (meanwhile they think it's completely reasonable). However if you walk in and turn the music WAY down and tell them that they can turn it back up to a "reasonable" level when you leave; you'll find that they level they turn it back up to is no where near the level they turned it down to in the first example.

What we are witnessing is the "volume" being turned way, way up. The whole world seems to be falling apart everywhere. The inflation we are experiencing here is happening in other countries as well. "Wokeness" is causing a lot of people to begin to notice the corruption, malefice and general absurdity that is increasing to a deafening roar. When the AC does show up, he'll turn the volume down and seem like an absolute hero. A hero that everyone, everywhere of every class and race will follow; a hero that nobody would have followed if he had shown up before the corruption, malefice and absurdity.

This is probably the most accurate remark on the antichrist in the entirety of this thread. I typically stay out of a lot of these topics, and for good reason... but what you just penned there was the ideal synopsis of what may transpire.

Yep. Human. While there is a lot of symbolism in Bible Prophecy, the symbolism is explained:

"As for the mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches." - Revelation 1:20

"Here is the mind which has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains upon which the woman sits, and they are seven kings; five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; and when he comes, he must remain a little while. The beast which was, and is not, is himself also an eighth and is one of the seven, and he goes to destruction. The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour." - Revelation 17:9-12


Also there are certain verses that speak about what the AC is going to do that would be impossible for it to be accomplished with an "ideology":

"No one is to deceive you in any way! For it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God." - 2nd Thessalonians 2:3-4
 
OK, bear with me a moment as I truly do not understand all of this. If the AC is going to make things better, why is that bad? (Honest question; as I said I do not understand this very well.)

The tribulation is going to be a very bumpy ride for many. The first 3.5 years will look somewhat peaceful, and even hopeful at times to some. The last 3.5 years will be a complete nightmare I can't imagine. A world void of Gods presence in any way shape or form for the entirety of the tribulation period. And the only stop to it will be the return of Christ to halt it. There's a number of details I won't delve into, and if you like I will... but the short version is famine, pestilence, disease on a scale unseen throughout history, war and strife, unrelentless fear and chaos. Lots of death.

The antichrist will present as a peacemaker, a great uniter of nations and peoples. He will make promises and show great signs of wonder. The unholy trinity will amaze people with many sorts of gimmicks. The beast will even survive a fatal wound and people will rally for him. They will say aloud "who is like him, who can triumph over him"? And those people will be deceived.

So, who are the leading AC candidates? Obama? Soros? A Soros stooge yet to come? Does the AC have to be American?

I just can't see this ever happening. I'm not a believer to begin with, so my opinion should mean very little to you guys anyway.
