Factory Rep= You haul what????
No. That truck is old enough that it's a 7.3L diesel or 6.8 gasser.Don't you have to pull the cab to work on a lot of stuff on those piles of shit?
Ah, gotcha. I thought the cab had to come off all of those to pull the transmission or something.No. That truck is old enough that it's a 7.3L diesel or 6.8 gasser.
Tranny drops from underneath. Cab comes off to pull the engine.Ah, gotcha. I thought the cab had to come off all of those to pull the transmission or something.
If it was rotten I wouldn't have done it. Do I look like an amateur? You have a lot of faith in those rotten rear quarters….

Back it up a couple of feet and it would probably be better.Finest Bexar county has to offer, this morning
kinda what I was thinking as well.Back it up a couple of feet and it would probably be better.
Dual tandems under the trailer so the axles are probably good for 10-12k each, might be a little much for the truck, but the trailer should be ok with the weight.

Won’t scratch the paint.
Looks like it will work until he hits a dip in the road and gets some axle movement.
I've done that to carry a few 20 footers. But I did it back to front.geez, that one took me a second to figure out WTF was going on there...
I have hauled 20's with the HardbodyI've done that to carry a few 20 footers. But I did it back to front.
Those are very lightweight trucks. You'd be surprised. With a dd13 daycab configuration, I'm wanting to say they are like 13 to 14k. Maybe less. All our tare weights are with 48' aluminum hopper bottoms and they are around 16k truck and trailer. They are all plastic. Definitely not old school iron. Which is likely why its on the trailer to begin with.Finest Bexar county has to offer, this morning
Always fun to get stuck behind a rig move. May as well pull off and take a few hours nap.
Where's that pic from? Looks like a Doyon rig and NES (used to be Peak) truck.
Wow. My International flatbed 10 wheeler was right around 24,000 empty. Was a semi truck that got converted to a concrete truck and then later to a dumping 18ft flatbed. Those are very lightweight trucks. You'd be surprised. Yeah, probably just in case. I'm not up to speed in how that all works, just have seen it, or have been held upRoad grader at the end for braking?
That was awesome!
cool. With rebar, let the end drag and make cool Sparks.did it with rebar more than a few times.
with channel steel you can run both hooks at the bottom, so if you drag it on something the strap won't get cutcool. With rebar, let the end drag and make cool Sparks.
