2bbs 2021 bronco build

F if I know... there was a little indent in the bottom of the console.... not really much of one. Hows it work? Hopefully I didnt run a screw into something important, lol.

The indent was centered so I think im ok...maybe.

the whole shebang comes out easy with 2 screws in case I ever need to acess the thing I didnt know was there.
If the fob dies you put it in the indent, so you can still start the vehicle. Most Ford's have them in the bottom of the console. I vaguely remember seeing it on the Bronco manual too.

Isn't the key thing in the forward most cup holder?

Shit if I actually keep this truck and pay it off I might get a bronco. Seems like the mods are catching up with to hrm. :smokin:

Do the fun haver guys have anything for sale yet?

I ended up getting a radio with all the controls built into the mic and mounting it in the void above the glove box.
Just have to fish out the wire and plug mic in when I want to use it.

The rcvs randomly stopped making noise and I also noticed all the boots popped off them. Had a good weekend wheeling with family and friends

Nice to see this thread get booted out of Chit Chat :flipoff2:

It has been a minute since I read through this whole thread, but did you ever do any mods to the steering rack itself? Seems like your steering has been holding up with the 37" tires and RPG tie rods.

I am going to help my father install the Rough Country rack bushing kit on his in a couple of weeks.

I did the bronc buster fill kit with billet end and Tie rod braces.

I have seen racks broken in half. The Hoss 3.0 Rack lived for one obstacle on a truck with 40's.
They might last longer on 37's, but I didn't want to risk it.

Same parts as talon and no issue yet

Curious, what made you go that route?

They look like nice units.
To be honest I didnt research much at all. Ive talked to the 74 weld guys multiple times over the years and have always been impressed with thier quality and customer relations. They are also less then a days drive from me so somehow it makes me feel better about handing them my money.

Why did you go with the tibus?

I just looked them up for the first time. The 5.5" of lift is sweet but I wouldnt want mine that tall as I only plan on running 37s wich work fine with the 1-1/4 coilover spacers I have now. I think another 2" will be perfect.

Do yours come with all the goodies to convert the rear to a ff setup? Do the fronts replace the whole knuckle? Any brake upgrades?

Also noticed the tibus are significantly more expensive

Tease?

Details to come? What’s the scoop?

I work with Bronc buster on a few things and wheel with him a bit, so lots of the same reasons.

The rear is a full float setup, no brake upgrade no knuckle. I’m interested to see how they perform. I’m debating 38’s or 40.1” tires just so I can say I’m bigger then GuidoLyons

So I can keep hijacking your thread More pics!!!

Nice. The stock knuckles look really weak to me so im interested to see how they hold up with those.

Does the retail price on those seem a little crazy to you compared to the 74welds?

The axle clearance would be insane with those and 40s.

How much width to they add over stock in the front? What wheels do you plan on running?

Not sure yet…. I would need to measure
This weekend I’m going to be wheeling on stock rims and 40’s

Looking forward to pics and hearing how everything else holds up to the 40s

I’m a dumbass. I am still gonna be on the stock 35’s.

Interesting the stock 35’s and 5.5” lift from portals will give me more clearance then if I had a traditional axle on 40’s, or even 42’s.
