WATCH LIVE: Hearing to decide if Fulton DA Fani Willis will be disqualified from Trump case

The ruling is in 2 weeks, Someone pointed out that it doesn’t take 2 weeks to find her innocent, it takes 2 weeks to write a detailed and thorough opinion on why she should be removed.
Agreed.

Like bgaidan posted; the judge is being very careful with everything he's doing.
With the likelihood of it going to appeal if they are disqualified and Trump's indictment being thrown out.

I don't know the full timeline. Was wade involved in the indictment or was he brought in afterwards? Is it 100% that it'll be dropped if they are removed?

What happens if only Wade is removed but Fani stays?

It looks like she was doing the indictment, and then handed/contract awarded to Wade.

If Wade is removed, there's no way Fani can't be removed.
Because she lied as much as Wade.

I dunno. The argument is about the conflict of interest, not the lying. I could see a judge trying to appease the rioters by dropping wade but allowing the indictment to stay open. Or can he throw them both off and it still be handed over to a new DA and/or prosecutor?

2 weeks to be persuaded to give the proper ruling

If a judge appeases the rioters, they deserve to be tarred and feathered for not giving a fair trial

Your guess is just as good as mine.

New DA = Fani disqualified from case/removed from office (she's thee DA for GA).

Because she's #1 DA for the state and he's a judge/special prosecutor and both lied under oath in the judge's court;
I think that's enough to not only disqualify them and get the case dismissed, they can lose their Bar lic, and possibly face felony charges.

I think you're correct; the judge is going to appease something somewhere in his ruling.

State's attorney is fucking horrible.

Edit:
Holly shit - judge just asked him to explain how some of his case law applies and it was just 30 seconds of silence and him saying "uhmm" :lmao:
I'm rewatching the hearing with another lawyer/YT'er and just came across that moment...

Police in Atlanta typically handle rioters pretty well, and try to quell the nonsense. They even shot and killed one recently at the protests for proposed Atlanta's Police Training center, and used copious amounts of tear gas on the rest...

I think after the NY ruling they're going throw her ass right under the back of the bus up to and including felonies plead down to misdemeanors that give them a few months to a year in jail. Faith in the justice system has never been lower and the NY ruling was so blatantly corrupt that even the governor and people who hate Trump called it bullshit. If they're going to lose this anyway sacrificing these two at least lets them have some appearance of the system working. Optically this is horrible for the DNC going into the election. They had no problem turning on Mario Cuomo under similar circumstances and these two are no Mario Cuomo.

While I hope this is true, I wonder if he wants the non sense of today forgotten before he allows it to continue in two weeks.

Conspiracy theory in me.

Someone said the judge worked for her in the past. She has a history of sleeping with her employees, so why not him? She could be telling him “if I go down, you will too”. I hope Trump investigators checked this out.

Warm up the water cannons too

Yes he did; also, the judge gave $150 to her campaign in the past.

Well thats because the Judge is thinking "I am not throwing away my career for a potato shaped hood rat or the Biden crime family".

Thing is; He's dealing with corruption at not only the state level, but at the federal level as well (White House).

It was discovered, via texts, the DA was in contact with the White House at least 3 times with one contact in person.
Veeery unusual...

I believe that I read the case would get kicked to the states attorneys to prosecute since essentially the whole DA's office would be getting taken off the case.

Of course, the state's dept is ran by Kemp, who just said the case is bullshit.

Speculation was, from that I read, the it would be dropped at the state's office level.

I am not a lawyer though and never even been to Ga. :homer:

Or to justify why she's able to continue with the witch hunt:mad3:
