Austria announces mandatory vaxx for entire population is coming.

VIENNA -- Austria announced a national lockdown and a plan to mandate vaccinations as coronavirus infections hit a record high Friday, forcing the government to walk back promises that strict shutdowns were a thing of the past.

While the scope of the proposed mandate was unclear, a blanket requirement would be a first for a Western country. Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg said those who didn't comply would likely be fined but gave no other details.

Evidently, vaccines are 100% effective to those that covid leaves 100% unaffected.

Im no doctor, but the idea of not aspirating and hitting a vein that takes demon spawn straight to the heart and fucks it up makes sense to me.

I've started the conversation of aspiration with people who I know will be getting vaccinated to help protect them against this and the overwhelming response is willful ignorance and lack of concern because "it doesn't happen very often". No shit Sherlock, the point is if you're in the unlucky few the possible consequences are terrible!

It's almost like in their mind in order to continue their blind faith in the vaccine they have to blindly follow everything associated with it and ignore any and all possible negativity associated with it, like myocarditis in kids, this condition is completely ignored or rationalized by anyone I've spoken with. The mind boggles, these conversations are with people I would normally consider to have pretty good heads on their shoulders. I guess when you buy into this religion you're all in.

This is exactly what I've experienced - otherwise smart people oblivious to knowing or wanting to know how injecting the shot incorrectly can make it more deadly...

That's a very good point, that will probably be ignored by the same person who ignores the risk of myocarditis.

At some point I do adopt the "you can lead a horse to water" mentality when speaking with people. I'll expend tremendous effort on someone who's worth it but little to none on someone who isn't. The myocarditis example is a pretty good barometer for me in determining who I'm speaking with.

It boggles my mind, and makes all the more thankful for places like this where rational thought and conversation still exist.

My wife's friend works 100% remote from home. She received notice last week that her employer is mandating the vax. Their deadline is Dec. 6th or lose your job.

I don't quite understand what would drive a private company to mandate a vaccination for employees that work from home:homer:

They can say they are 100% vaccinated if everyone has been jabbed or has an exemption.

My girlfriend works 6 hours away from the office at home and if it wasn't for her religious exemption would have already been fired. 🤡🌎
 
My family has historically gone to see a local production of the Nutcracker Ballet sometime this time of year.

Every production company putting that on near here is now requiring that all attendees must wear a mask at all times, and must show proof of vax for admission.

We're not going; I saw the "must show proof" bit and noped on out of shopping for tickets past that point. Wife is disappointed but OK with it, daughter is livid.
