I love the doom and gloom here. This shit will never happen on a federal level, but I do see more private companies checking vaccine status/requiring negative COVID test. Already doing it with concerts and such.

If you’re that against it, make a fake card and move on with life. The country was already falling apart before COVID hit BTW :flipoff2:

Going to partially agree. If you wanna put up a stink, do it, but not by whining and a singular action. Commit to it.

It's like most voters. Bitch about this, that xyz. All they do is vote though. Help the candidates, be a candidate. Be the change, create action. Doing more, will create more..
 
Just another push of the agenda, versus solutions. If solutions were the true goal, then natural immunity would be tested for, and acknowledged as an alternative for the 'vaccines.' But, they are not. The ONLY acceptable compliance is the willingness to be jabbed.

Must’ve been pretty bad fake ones then, or someone snitched on them. I’ve seen my mom and brothers vaccine cards and they look like they were copied and cut out, faded looking and the edges weren’t even.

Not like there’s a database of folks who’ve been vaxxed, either.

I work in construction, a fair bit of our work is in hospitals. Every single one has sent out letters to all General and Subcontractors demanding that all personnel on any site owned or paid for by the hospital (including job trailers) track employee vaccination status and only vaccinated people be allowed on site. This includes new construction and remodels. Even in active hospital spaces barriers have always been put in place for dust control if nothing else. There is no contact between staff and patients and construction personnel. This is on existing jobs and all new jobs moving forward. There is no provision for people with natural immunity. For a limited time testing twice a week is allowed but that goes away quickly. There is no end date or goal specified, presumably this is forever and will include boosters.

Zero push back from the General contractors that I have seen.
Zero push back from Trade Unions, though to my knowledge they have not answered if I can call the hall and get a vaccinated guy so I am not sure how that is supposed to work.

Healthcare is big money and demand never goes down so nobody wants to piss off their clients.

All of that to say that this stuff trickles down in silly ways.

I belive CA is maintaining a Database of vaccinations so a fake card could be found out pretty easily.

Places your vaccine card is required for entry​


By order of the Provincial Health Officer (PHO), proof of vaccination is required to access some events, services and businesses. Starting September 13, you must have at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. By October 24, you must be fully vaccinated. The requirement is in place until January 31, 2022 and could be extended.


The requirement applies to all people born in 2009 or earlier (12+) and covers:


  • Indoor ticketed sporting events
  • Indoor concerts, theatre, dance and symphony events
  • Licensed restaurants and restaurants that offer table service (indoor and patio dining)
  • Pubs, bars and lounges (indoor and patio dining)
  • Nightclubs, casinos and movie theatres
  • Gyms, exercise facilities/studios, pools and recreation facilities
  • Businesses offering indoor group exercise
  • Indoor adult group and team sports for people 22 years old or older
  • Indoor organized events with 50 or more people. For example: Wedding receptions, organized parties, conferences and workshops
  • Indoor organized group recreational classes and activities like pottery, art and choir
  • Post-secondary on-campus student housing

Note: Proof of vaccination is not required to vote in-person in the September 20 federal election or at advance polling places.


Examples of places that don't require proof of vaccination​


You don't have to show proof of vaccination at places like:
  • Grocery stores, liquor stores and pharmacies
  • Unlicensed restaurants that don't offer table service, like fast food, coffee shops and takeout
  • Salons, hairdressers, barbers
  • Hotels, resorts, cabins and campsites
    • Unless it is a setting or event covered by the PHO order. For example a licensed hotel restaurant, fitness centre, wedding reception or conference
  • Banks and credit unions
  • Retail and clothing stores
  • Food banks and shelters
  • Escape rooms, laser tag, indoor paint ball, arcades and bowling alleys (if they are unlicensed or don't offer table service)
  • Post-secondary on-campus cafeterias
 
^^ So.....the bug will spread in an outdoor patio restaurant, but not in a bowling alley?!? Wow.....that bug must be very selective as to where it hangs out.

EDIT....Oh wait. the bug will also take root in the post-secondary, on-campus, academic residences....but not in the post-secondary, on-campus, academic cafeterias?

I'm just pointing out IF you are caught you won't be "moving on with life ". And once mandates become even more mainstream expect there to be further crackdowns or methods of verification. Remember, nobody thought we'd see the day healthy people were quarantined or told they couldn't go to work either. I am not willing to believe a blanket federal mandate could never happen at this point.

if you got your shot from a federal administer or out of state or during the shoot the homeless drives, you will need to submit your own card information to the CA database.

It's a terrible database and would absolutely not be able to find a fake card :laughing:

for the people dumb enough to use a fake vax card rather than getting the shot, the best time to do it is as soon as possible. Hell, make a couple public statements about getting your shot to go along with it. Preface every other comment with "i'm vaccinated, but the mandates are stupid, the shot isn't that effective, the goalposts change"

anybody who can afford to get fired during this great labor shortage over this should go ahead and make their stand, that's fine.
 
It'll be a success. I've read and heard too many people (including members on here) get the shot. Not because they were afraid of the virus, but afraid of other business/political repercussions.

Until it's a 1 time shot (like a true vaccine) and 99.99% effective, they can kiss my ass with their bullshit.

I've gotten far more shots than just this one for my job than i would have otherwise had, but i also knew that when i took the job a decade ago. At the same time, I was able to get an advantage for time off of ultimately 3 free weeks for doing it and always knew it would be mandated for us.

this is far beyond that and i certainly don't want somebody to think that because i got injected with experimental drugs that it should be influencing their decision or that i cannot understand their cause or stance against it
 
I'm taking with a grain of salt. I've been told by numerous people that I'd be in a concentration camp by the end of this year and executed.

Him saying that is just to get all the liberals excited in their echo chambers.
