WTF is the point of charging someone for "intent." Isn't that, essentially, a thought crime? If a person "intends" to commit a crime but doesn't... then what's the issue?

Yea. I guess I didn't finish my thought- it sort of exposes those celebrating as people who don't know what's going on or who just hate trump so much that they don't care the charges are bogus. I would hope the average person would be able to look at this conviction with a more critical eye.

It wasn’t even that, it was hush money to a porn star that was filed in the wrong column, a clerical error, that he signed off on. No way in gods green earth trump has any idea what’s going on with his tax’s and legal documents besides the 10,000ft view, especially considering he was president when this all happened.

If any other politician in the world was scrutinized as closely as trump you would have a gold mine of corruption and bribery. Hell look at the networth of all the presidents over the last 40 years. Only one has gone down, most go up 3-500%.
 
The democrats are great at the long game. Plan, implement, succeed. Republicans on the other hand are reactive. We (R's) get what we deserve.

the funny thing is it was most likely Cohen who screwed her and she decided to get money. who else takes out a mortgage in their house so their wife doesn't find out Trump banged a pornstar.

One (and only one of many) example of how the Far Left has been nothing, if not remarkably patient in their actions. Take time, slowly move your pieces into position, and have the parts needed to manipulate to your end in due time. Small victories, over time, will eventually lead to a undeniable and unpreventable tide.

Very successfully boiling the frog in the pot, effecting change as they see fit, and with very little obstruction to their movements. And I won't take the time to go into the increase of government 'entitlement' which makes persuading a populace towards accepting more control over their existence and dependence on the government for that existence, as a major driving force, as well.

Fucking any opposition and what many (most?) Americans hold dear in the process.

This entire 'trial' has been an example of this frog-cooking methodology.

He was posting similar videos after they stole 2020 claiming he was going to prevail. And remember it was 2020, not 2024, that "was the most important election in our lifetime".

Don't get me wrong, I do hope he can miraculously prevail, but the "two more weeks" bullshit is beyond tiring.
