TRUMP INDICTMENT

Honestly I think he should be found not guilty, Not because I hope he wins but because I don't want the court to do this to anyone. Even hillary. How can you plan a defense when you don't know the actual crime? I think that violates the 6th amendment? How can you plan a defense when there are multiple choice answers? 4 different jurors can find him guilty on each count, no unanimous decision on any one crime and he's guilty?
WTF?

It's a sad sad joke. The fact that the MSM keeps saying this is legit goes to show how corrupt they are.

The other reason I hope he is found not guilty is the anguish and outrage on the left will be glorious to behold. Trump will have crushed his enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women! Basically anybody on the left

According to the current news, they only have to agree that he did something illegal. They don't even have to agree about what he did that was illegal. If they just all agree that something, anything, he did was illegal, he'll be convicted.

Insanity.
Nope Nope Nope...this is a criminal case not civil so it requires unanimous verdict.

HOWEVER...out of the 30 some odd counts charged he can be found guilty on all counts, not guilty on all counts or better yet not guilty on some and guilty on others. Which explains the time required for the jury to decide...they have to vote on each indictment.

The entire Washington branch can and should be removed. Except for whistle blowers. They could lead it.

In other news, I heard that if the jury goes hung, and it’s only a couple jurists that vote not guilty, the judge can declare them not deliberating and have them replaced with the backup jurist.
The backup jurist that the C!A has been reminding how much their Grandchild Timmy loves his second period teacher and it would be a shame if a gunman were to come into the classroom at 8:15 am.

That's not what he's talking about.

Basically, there are three lines of evidence (each with its relevent statutes) for why he might be found guilty. The judge instructed the jurors that they don't need to all agree on which line of evidence is correct, as long as they all agree that at least one of them is correct. So juror A can think line one is correct, while juror B disagrees but thinks line two is correct, etc.

All this shit gets normalized. Trying to impeach the POTUS is now just normal. It's going to happen to every POTUS going forward. And now so is trying to criminally charge your political opponents. With all of that combined with the courts having already decided parties can rig their primaries all this screaming about "our democracy" needs to just STFU. We're a banana republic at this point.

Trump jurors repeatedly ask judge to re-read instructions. But why does NBC journo have a copy, and not the jurors?

Outrage is brewing over reports that an NBC News reporter got a copy of the Trump jury’s instructions, but the jury itself didn’t.

The reporter, correspondent Laura Jarrett, revealed that she was in possession of the instructions in this video seen here.

“I got ’em,” she said in the clip. “These are the instructions that the jury has to follow in Donald Trump’s hush money trial before they can reach a verdict. 53 pages. This is complicated. This is lengthy stuff. It took the judge over an hour to read it, but guess what?”

“The jury doesn’t get this in the room during deliberations. They have to write questions. They write notes. But they don’t get these instructions. In New York, both parties have to agree and the judge has to agree. And in this case, it didn’t happen. They don’t have this in the room right now,” she added.

The fact that she had the instructions but the jury didn’t, triggered a flood of outrage, with critics calling the case rigged and lashing out at the demonstrably biased judge, Juan Merchan.

I didn't understand that part of this either. Why wouldn't the jury, in any trial, be given written copies of the jury instructions?

Evidently all parties have to agree - defense, prosecution, and judge. And evidently that hasn't happened here. No mention of who the holdout is or if there's more than one. Hell, the jury having a copy of the jury instructions should be fucking mandatory.

He must be getting acquitted. Now news is breaking all over the place that Trump is on tape saying the N word 20 years ago. Naturally, no one actually has the tape.

hopefully they have reached a not guilty verdict but are making sure all is well and taking enough time to make it look like they looked at all the evidence. Hell it might take them this long to understand the the judge's instructions.
