TRUMP INDICTMENT

i wouldnt mind it.

"All these commies on the jury with me wanted to convict, through only their hatred of Trump and not the facts. Thats why i hung it. It was my fault its a hung jury. sorry, im not sorry. "
we can only hope

If you think so, now's your chance to cash in.
I hear Vegas is offering 4 to 1 odds.
So if you're confident he goes to jail, make 4x your money on it.
Show me, that's an easy swing to sell. Here's what I see

So I was listening to NPR on the way in and they simplified the charges down to trump paid invoices that were marked for one thing (lawyer fees) while they were really meany for another thing (paying back coen for paying stormy daniels) in order to influence the election. Given those broad terms, would many other politicians be in trouble? First one I can think of is hillary and anybody involved with the steele dossier? Clinton for his past indiscretions?

When did the justice system become multiple choice. Whatever happened to specificity in reguards to charges? They know this is a sham. They know it will be overturned. They just want the conviction before the election.

It's really sad we have fallen so far
It guarantees it gets thrown out on appeal but they dont care. They just need to smear him throughout this year.

Stupid question I don’t feel like googling.

Does this need to be unanimous or majority vote type deal? Everyone must agree right?

According to the current news, they only have to agree that he did something illegal. They don't even have to agree about what he did that was illegal. If they just all agree that something, anything, he did was illegal, he'll be convicted.

Insanity.

If he wins, I hope he cleans house first like with the DOJ, FBI...etc and then goes scorched earth on them.

How? The FBI is not part of the executive branch. More trumpet fantasy. He's not going to drain shit other than the fools that hitch their wagon to him. Look how that worked out for Rudy, Cohen, Matthews , Pence and others. Why would you want to be on team Trump.

Sorry, not going to happen.

That is so fucked up

The way I heard it was even more F'd up. Whoever it was said if a few vote guilty on one count and other's vote guilty on different counts they can total all guilty votes until they get to 12. If true that's crazy b.s.

!. FBI is part of the executive branch and 2, I hope he does and still MAGA, and he's a hell of a multi tasker. The only one of those people that stuck with him was Rudy, and we'll see how much he sticks up for Rudy in the end. I'll wager he does.

Because the director of the FBI CAN be removed by the president.....:homer:

Please explain. Which of the 3 branches of government is the FBI a part of?
Yeah, I was wrong about that.

WJC fired Sessions and DJT fired Comey, and what did that get us? Business as usual as far as I can see. These institutions are too big to fail. The FBI has a purpose, but like the EPA, DOJ, the USDE and many others, they've expanded their reach and size to the point that they really need to be reigned in, but I don't see that happening no matter who's in the big chair.

Most of the defunct federal agencies were absorbed by other agencies with a few exceptions like the WPA during the Great Depression.

Because he won't be running for re-election (if he win's) we're hoping he does just that and guts them like a fish.

He made the mistake before by listening to his "advisors" on who to place as the director. Hopefully this time he will place someone in there that has some integrity to them and finally goes after the ones that have been fucking us over.

Will it happen? Who knows but he is our best shot at it. In my opinion.

Kash for AG

Clay Higgins for ???? (If he does not get VP)

Because the director of the FBI CAN be removed by the president.....:homer:

The entire Washington branch can and should be removed. Except for whistle blowers. They could lead it.

In other news, I heard that if the jury goes hung, and it’s only a couple jurists that vote not guilty, the judge can declare them not deliberating and have them replaced with the backup jurist.

‘I’ve seen it done’: Alan Dershowitz speculates Merchan is prepared to swap ‘one juror’ who ‘won’t give in’

by Harold Hutchison

Noted attorney Alan Dershowitz said on Wednesday that it is possible New York Judge Juan Merchan is not dismissing alternate jurors in order to deal with a holdout that will not convict former President Donald Trump.

Merchan issued instructions to the jury of seven men and five women Wednesday, pointing them to some of the key evidence in the case prior to the panel beginning its deliberations. Dershowitz admitted he was speculating during Wednesday’s episode of “The Dershow” about Merchan’s reason for keeping the alternates available, but said he had seen a judge in an unrelated case make a similar move.

“I admit this is highly, highly speculative, but there… I know a case on this, so that I’m not making it up: The judge said he’s not going to dismiss the alternate jurors until there’s an absolute verdict,” Dershowitz said. “One possible reason for that, again, I want to emphasize that I’m speculating, one possible reason for this might be following, it is quite cynical: Let’s assume that the jurors come back and say, ‘Sorry we’re, uh, we’re deadlocked. We have one juror who just won’t give in. Well, there are eleven of us who think he’s guilty.’ By the way, the jurors don’t say what they think, they just say there’s a deadlock, but if they come back that way, the inference will be that the jury is, that is, is locked eleven to one in favor of conviction.’”

“So the judge hears from the jurors and the judge hears that they’re eleven to one and then the judge says, ‘Well is that other juror, the twelfth juror, is he negotiating? Is he involved in the conversations?’ And the foreman to the jury says ‘No, he’s refusing, he’s sitting there with his arms folded, saying, ‘Guy’s innocent, sorry, guy’s innocent, I’m not going to listen to you. The guy’s innocent, there’s no case here, the guy’s innocent.’” Dershowitz continued. “If I were on the jury, that’s what I’d be doing, and then the judge has the power, rarely, rarely, exercised, but he has the power, I’ve seen it done, to say ‘Well, if this juror won’t deliberate, then he’s violating his oath, and I’m going to substitute one of the alternate jurors for that juror,’ and then immediately, they come back with a twelve to nothing verdict of conviction.”

Merchan has come under fire for a perceived bias against Trump in the case. He imposed an expanded gag order on April 1 after Trump criticized the judge’s daughter in multiple posts on Truth Social, including one linking to a New York Post report on Loren Merchan’s firm helping Democrats raise $93 million off the former president’s indictment in the business records case.

Merchan also made a $15 donation to Biden’s presidential campaign in 2020 and two $10 donations to Democratic groups via ActBlue, one to a “Stop Republicans” group and another to a “Progressive Turnout Project,” according to Federal Election Commission (FEC) records. “I’m not saying that that’s going to happen, I’m not saying that’s even in the judge’s mind, but knowing this judge and seeing him in action, particularly having seen him in action on the day I was in the court when they cleared everybody but I was allowed to stay, why, I still don’t know, and I saw the real Judge Merchan,” Dershowitz said. “Um, that’s not beyond the realm of possibility, so anything’s possible. This judge wants Donald Trump convicted.”

Judge tells Trump jury they must be unanimous, but don’t have to agree on means

by By Brett Rowland The Center Square

(The Center Square) – The judge overseeing the hush money trial of former President Donald Trump spent an hour telling the jury how to apply the law to the case, including that they must reach a unanimous decision but don’t have agree on the means.

Some jumped on the statement as circular reasoning. U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio compared the trial to those of the Soviet Union.

Judge Juan Merchan read 55 pages of instructions to the jury Wednesday morning before deliberations began.

Among the instructions: “Although you must conclude unanimously that the defendant conspired to promote or prevent the election of any person to a public office by unlawful means, you need not be unanimous as to what those unlawful means were,” according to the instructions. “In determining whether the defendant conspired to promote or prevent the election of any person to a public office by unlawful means, you may consider the following unlawful means: (1) violations of the Federal Election Campaign Act otherwise known as FECA; (2) the falsification of other business records; or (3) violation of tax laws.”

U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio lashed out on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter.

“Judge in Trump case in NYC just told jury they don’t have to unanimously agree on which crime was committed as long as they all at least pick on,” Rubio, R-Fla., wrote. “And that among the crimes the can pick from are ones Trump WASN’T EVEN CHARGED WITH!!! This is exactly the kind of sham trial used against political opponents of the regime in the old Soviet Union.”

Legal analyst Jonathan Turley called Merchan’s instruction a “coup de grâce.”

“He said that there is no need to agree on what occurred,” Turley wrote on X. “They can disagree on what the crime was among the three choices. Thus, this means that they could split 4-4-4 and he will still treat them as unanimous.”

The case centered around Trump’s alleged sexual encounter with an adult film actress in 2006 and a $130,000 payment to her in 2016 to keep her quiet ahead of the 2016 election. Trump has pleaded not guilty and denied the encounter happened.

Prosecutors allege that Trump covered up the payment to Stormy Daniels and another hush money payment to former Playboy model Karen McDougal ahead of the election, falsifying records to claim they were legal payments.

Trump, 77, is the first former U.S. president to be charged with a felony.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg charged Trump with 34 counts of falsifying business records related to money paid to Daniels and McDougal. Bragg has alleged Trump broke New York law by falsifying business records with the intent to commit or conceal another crime.

Prosecutors allege Trump falsified internal records kept by his company, hiding the true nature of payments that involve Daniels ($130,000), McDougal ($150,000), and Trump’s former personal lawyer Michael Cohen ($420,000). Prosecutors allege the money was logged as legal expenses, not reimbursements.

The prosecution has finally rested in the criminal case against former President Trump, having presented nine bullet-proof pieces of evidence that prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Trump is guilty. Here they are:
  1. Trump said he's innocent: Exactly the sort of thing a guilty person would say.
  2. Before the trial, the prosecution's star witnesses both said Trump was innocent: It doesn't get any more cut and dry.
  3. The judge decided Trump was guilty before the trial even began: It was that obvious.
  4. No one in America has ever been charged with a felony for this crime before: Trump is so guilty they had to make up new laws. Case closed.
  5. Trump was in Home Alone 2 alongside notorious criminals "The Wet Bandits": What more evidence could you need?
  6. Trump spent evenings after trial delivering pizza to firemen: Exactly what a hardened felon would do. Lock him up.
  7. Trump's signature on the checks in question is kind of hard to read: The plain mark of criminal conspiracy.
  8. Robert DeNiro said he is guilty: Game over.
  9. He's not a Democrat: Clearly belongs behind bars. That's just how law works.
If that's not an airtight list of evidence that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Trump is guilty, then you belong in a cell right next to him!

NEW YORK CITY, NY — As the jury deliberates in the State of New York v. Trump criminal trial, sources within the courtroom claim that four court bailiffs have gone ahead and begun casting lots to split up Trump's clothing.
The bailiffs allegedly divided Trump's luxury Italian Brioni suit into four parts, one part for each bailiff, before realizing that his dress shirt with a "45" monogram was in fact seamless and woven from one piece from top to bottom. Onlookers claim to have heard the lead bailiff tell his fellow officers, "Let us not tear it - instead, let us cast lots to see who will get it."
Alina Habba, one of Trump's defense attorneys, has claimed that the bailiffs' actions are actually the fulfillment of an ancient prophecy. "As it is written in Think Like a Billionaire, chapter 7, "Brioni suits are the best - everyone says so. In fact, they'll try to steal mine at some point. They'll probably even have to roll dice."
"SAD! BAD! THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO," Trump posted to Truth Social. "These LOSERS probably have never even seen a suit this nice before. They would have no idea how to tie this tie, it will be so sad to see. Clown show!"
At publishing time, bailiff number three had been heard shouting with delight as he landed Trump's signature golden sneakers.

So if he wins, he’s a lame duck from the beginning. 🤷‍♂️
