The crime of falsifying business records is included in New York’s penal code. Falsifying records in the second degree is a misdemeanor, but it becomes a felony if the person falsified business records with an intent to commit another crime or to aid or conceal the commission of a crime.

Cohen paid for the stormy daniels hush payment by re-financing his house. He has stated that trump knew nothing about it.
Cohen was still doing legal work for trump when he was paid.
He stole 30k from trump while working for trump
Cohen did not get to go to washington so he turned on trump.

these charges were not acted upon years before by the courts and the Feds. The case was not resurrected until trump was doing well.

Bragg attached the concealment of a crime to bring it to a felony. What crime did he intent to commit by falsifying business records.

If they really had a case why did the judge bar the defense from bring an expert Brad Smith who was chairman of the Federal Election Commission between 2000 and 2005 and could have shed light on what was going on.

This is a farce. They are just hoping that a DA that ran on convicting trump, With a judge that is at the least prosecution friendly in a deep blue city think they can get 12 people to convict trump on something.

Having an affair (if he did) is not illegal
catching and killing stories is not illegal
NDA's are not illegal.

The only way they can defeat him is to convict him on something.

Where are the other people on trial for doing this? Is trump the only one?
Where is the next business person that overstated the worth of things to get a better loan deal. When is that next case?


Think what you want it's a free country but If this was not trump there would be no charges.

What cohen admitted to in court, under oath is a bigger crime than what trump is accused of. When is his trial?

He is charged with falsifying records because he listed it as a legal expense. Has anyone heard what classification he was supposed to put it under? I’m trying to think back to my quick book days. If I had to classify a non discloser payment, I probably would have said legal expense. Is there a much better one?

Also, has anyone heard how much money he saved by listing it that way? They don’t even seem to be talking about that.
