Trump announcing VP pick today

I also don't get the impression that she would bring many democrat voters over. I suspect they see her the way we saw McCain.

You have a point, but there is a pretty solid chunk of homeless democrats out there right now, mainly because woke DEI combined with what their team has done the last 4 years. Don't know how many of those she'd bring with her but I think it would be a few.

I'd rather have Vivek, but it would be awesome in theory if he picked Tulsi and then you'd have both president and VP ex democrats.

Next they are going to tell us it won't be Romney!
For some bizarre reason that I never understood, Rubio was getting a lot of press this morning as a real possibility, dang near a done deal. I thought it was ridiculous , but they were saying it with the confidence of the ignorant,.

If the goal is to look past this election with the idea the VP will likely be the candidate in 28, Vivek would be the right pick. If the Republicans are going to have a future, I would want it to be the Indian man.

I would never vote for Haley, and likely never vote Tulsi, but I would vote Vivek

Trying to predict what Trump is gonna do is just a fool's errand. He's a showman. He always wants to surprise and do the unpredictable. That's why I won't be at all surprised if it's someone out of left field.
Keeps your attention don’t it? :flipoff2:

RFK is proof if you are right on a single issue, people will hail your praises.

You can be a lifelong Democrat, and a fucking environmental lawyer, but if you say "Vax is Bad" (and how is that even a controversial take) there will be scores of Republicans fall all over themselves to support you. :mad3:

Alot of digital ink has been spilled here about how bad Tulsi would be. I don't buy it. I think her and I would always have disagreements on policy, but I actually believe that she is willing to change her views based on new information, and she's definitely been done wrong by "her side" which I believe opened her up to plenty of new ideas.
Burgum would be the worst pick, IMO. Safe, but bad. Trump is a gamer, he needs a Gronk, not a 3rd stringer.
Tulsi would pick up some votes. I think she would be a strong pick for him.

No go as in you don’t vote for Trump if he picks Tulsi?

I don’t believe you.
I admit we MUST win THIS election, before we think of 2028. I get it.

But I also get that it is a likely scenario that the VP (if Trump is elected, and that is a HUGE "IF" ) will be a presumptive nominee for 2028.
You think Tulsi will be that person?

I will likely pull the handle for Trump, but there are a few picks that I would not. ... RFK, Haley, Rubio, or anyone named Bush...
