Toyota Garage Sale ~ Buy, Sell & Trade thread.

Shoot, I thought $50 a side was pretty fair deal.

If you ever get to know me, you'll understand I'm a toyota cheap ass/ curator of junk toyota parts.

I'd pay 50 a side of the we're the mid 90s hubs, those ones are round and don't beat the shit out of my lathe when turning them down.

WTB-Klamath Falls Oregon area

I just bought a Forest Green 1991 Toyota 4Runner.

1. I need a hood, possibly a grill and headlight buckets and fasteners.

2. Also a nice tan/brown drivers seat or other parts for the inside like a brown steering column surround.

3. Front Tru Trac for 8" axle. I am using 4x4 on road and need it.

For obvious reasons local is best. I'd consider shipping on something small like the steering column surround etc.

I live around Klamath Falls, southern Oregon. I would prefer to pick up stuff local which means Bend/Medford/Lakeview.

Here is the paint code: Forest Green Metallic 6J7

The drivers seat is most important, column surround is next on the priority list.

*Once I get a nice drivers seat I would consider getting rid of the tan TURBO oem seat that is in there.

I have a v6 8"tru trac and a tan and black suspension seat if you're interested. Located in the bay area, really interested in your drivers seat. I want to go back to a stock seat in my 87 runner.

I am interested in the tru trac for sure. The seat would normally be fine that you have. But this rig is sooo tallll. I am a larger person and it is a serious stretch to get in it with a regular seat. I am converting a wheeler only to a DD and lowering it etc. I just want a stock seat that is nice. The rig isn't trashed, just needs some mods for what I am after.

I recognize to the right person my seat has some value. I just want to keep it until I get into the correct one as it does work for now.

PM me your number and I can text you a few pics of the seat at least.

Bummer I didn't post up earlier. I bought it east of Sacramento and was just there two weeks ago.

Some misc. Toyota parts I have on hand. Not sure if I linked it correctly but it is here on the site.

Looking for a running F or 2F engine somewhere in the Midwest. Closer to southern IL the better.

Anyone looking to make an r150/ax15 hybrid to put an atlas/D300/black box behind a toyota motor?

I have an ax15 with no bell housing I'd let go cheap

If anyone needs a computer for a 1996 LX450 FZJ80, lemme know. I bought it for a spare on ebay like 10-15 years ago and it's sat in my shop ever since.

I think I also have the ABS stuff that I removed from a 96 LX450 as well.

Yeah your right that was not a great intro.

Let me give ya some of the back story of my F-Toy AKA "Groom Digger" so that maybe I can redeem myself a little here ;)

Me and fam have been desert junkies for very long time. When my son was about 4 years old when we got wind from a friend that the first King of the Hammers was going down and made our way out to Johnson valley for the very first time in my Turbo 4 Runner. I included some pics to show what we started with. It was a very cold and windy on the lake bed that morning but we were fired up to check out the scene having no idea what was about to go down.

we spent the morning checking out the cool F-toys there before the race started and quickly realized that we needed to convert our runner into a F-Toy. We were bit by the bug so to speak. My kids were young and I really wanted to start a project with my son so he could get some experience wrenching. Little did I know that it would be my daughter that fell in love with actually building the toy with me. My son just wanted to drive it :).

We drove up to Santa Cruze that summer to Hendrix and purchased our F-Toy chassis. I had never done anything like this build before and was totally blown away with Hendrix knowledge and F-Toy community that was so helpful in getting us going in the right direction. We had NO idea what we were getting ourselves into though. Mind you, I had just watch Ian and Jesse on extreme 4x4 build a F-toy in like three episodes so I figured it would only take me a year or so.... but it took more like five years and it was not the easy budget build, it was hard and expensive with lots of lessons learned along the way. Seems like it comes down to money and time and I never seem to have both at the same time ,so it took like what seemed FOREVER.

We finally got it done and on its very first voyage across the Mohave trail in 2013ish. We attended KOH every year since and have made many modifications and improvements along the way. Now my kids are off to collage and its just me, wifey and our two maliraptors. Our days of crawling up waterfalls and enduring the elements on the trail are coming to transition and a new build with a few more creature comforts like AC, windows and heat when needed. I honestly questioned even selling it because it has such sentimental value to the family but it goes back to the same money and time equation. My wife and I recently purchased a diesel pusher to tour the country in as kinda a victory lap for getting our kids off to college and we are looking for something that can be towed with us for easy comfortable but capable access to trails.

I have included a bunch of the build pics and us just having fun. Hope you enjoy

how much?

I'd have to look, but I think it was like $60 to ship my diff to ecgs. That was their rates though.

You just want knuckles? Calipers?

Knuckles for sure
Wouldn’t mind the calipers.
