Tourist submarine exploring Titanic wreckage disappears in Atlantic Ocean

Depends on the depth as the deeper ones carcass is the colder the surrounding area is, refrigeration = preservation.

Not to be morbid or insensitive, but how does human decomposition work in this scenario if the unit is still fully sealed?

so like I said, who's sending an ROV down there do we can record them running out of oxygen?

I guess maybe it's possible to unstuck them or tow them up with something, but I'd bet that's highly unlikely.
I assume their plan is to find the thing and then send down an ROV to connect a hook to it and then winch it back.

It's not like it doesn't have plenty of suitable lifting and tie down points on it seeing as it got chained to a boat deck and the picked up and put in the water with a crane.

So.... If you were concerned on Oxygen, would you go ahead and Clinton the weakest one or would it be the biggest one, because he is using more O2??

I mean the bigger one would require more initial energy to take out, but would it be worth the exsertion>

I'm not saying it can't be recovered, I'm saying it's unlikely that it's recovered with living occupants.
of course it may float off somewhere and never be found if it's not on the bottom.

they gotta sleep sometime.
I figure we're playing hand on the car rules. First one asleep loses.

FOLLOW UP

If you kill everyone so you can survive and are recovered alive, Who has jurisdiction on a murder at the Titanic???

Stepson of the billionaire is grieving his own way. He went to see Blink 182

What the fuck is he supposed to do?

I mean it's kinda bad optics, but .... "All The Small Thing" ya know.

Its his stepdad, why should he give a fuck? Whats he supposed to do, stay at home walking in circles wringing his hands?

If his single mom bagged a billionaire, imagine what she'll bag as billionaire herself

Lots of truth in that.

Wonder how long until it's a Mr. Ballen story. I listen to this dude on podcast, he's kinda annoying on youtube, but he's a Navy Seal so ya gotta respect that. Some weird stuff out there, and a lot of stuff about deep diving.

From the video

"We use a game controller to pilot the sub so anyone can do it."

Except 50 year old white guys......
I've seen some people really terrible at video games so I'd definitely disagree with his assertion there.

How many here would have said fuck you dude when he said we control it with this game controller if there was no mechanical backups when the control by wire fails ?

Bolted in from the outside with no universal docking collar = insanity.

Uh... I would've said fuck you when they asked me if I wanted to go 12k+ feet deep in a metal coffin bolted shut from the outside. Nah man, I'm good.
No shit. If you were unphased by the tens of other red flags, I doubt the xbox controller is where you draw the line

The worst part about this isn't the five bodies and the massive waste of money.

It's that for the next 40yr the clipboard and safety vest types will say something that should earn them a 12ga slug between the eyes and then use this to back it up as an example.

Depends. The captain may have useful knowledge. The Pakistanis are father and son so presumably to kill one you’d have to kill them both. That saves the most oxygen. Then the Frenchman and the Englishman in whatever order works out. But basically you’ve got to take them all out to conserve oxygen. Maybe look for the guy freaking out and offer to strangle him with a PlayStation controller so it’s over quicker.

That pipeline was at appx. 360'. Just a tad bit shallower than the Titanic.

just because it only went 360' down to blow up the pipeline, doesnt mean it cant go to 12k. but it doesnt mean it can, either. thats why im asking.

He's going to be a consultant on the movie FOR SURE, if he doesn't write his own book,
