Tourist submarine exploring Titanic wreckage disappears in Atlantic Ocean

I still think there was a moment of clarity, of knowing they were fucked, when the guy at the Playstation controls heard the hull groaning, looked around and said "uh oh", or the pilots famous last words; "oh shit".
I have to imagine there was some crackling first. Everything goes quiet. You see the dipshit struggling with the PlayStation controller. He looks at everyone to see them watching him. There’s one last cracking noise then everything went black.

Thats how the movie will portray it anyway:flipoff2:.

Maybe a good split second high velocity group hug before the black.

I doubt it unless they had some type of failure leading to an uncontrolled decent or something along those lines. When they hull went it WENT.

Spun fiberglass?
With bladder ?

If it was solid titanium that would seem much more secure but would still require testing at the depth one would want to use it, IMO.

Would require a standard submersible vehicle hatch also, its not like it could be opened from inside at operational depth.

Just about the same as the idiot squisher

I saw shrimp in the videos and I'd bet what those folks turned into wouldn't last very long down there.

6:45 in this video , the guy mentions the "presumed human remains" that were found. So it doesn't sound like they found much. This is actually a pretty good video breaking down what was left of the sub. Goes through the pictures from the first few ROV dives.

great explanation of the space tube failure
but, all I see is that stolen milk crate taken from the back dock of the local gas station just hanging out there not being affected by anything, and will surface fully functionable ready for another ride to the bottom
