What's new

Things you have found on the side of the road.

I found a old dead guy in a car. Anyone else ever find a dead person?

Found a guy that had removed most of his head with a 30-30. He'd been in the sun for a few days....

Few years back we climbed up outta a canyon on the bikes. Found a van wormed way the fuck back in on a skid road. Theres only one thing that smells like that. We didnt open that door

Your found Jesus on the side of the road?
no, just shocked that someone would waste that much electrical tape on a shitty handle when oiled wood is the far superior choice for any implement handle

(as an aside, get that polyurethane varnished shit outta here)

did you keep the 30-30?

One time I was driving down a fairly busy road and everyone was driving around a step ladder. Funny thing was, right than I needed a step ladder. I turned around, but I took awhile to get back in the traffic. Somebody else already picked it up.

That was an emotional rollercoaster with a sad ending.

I was coming home from work and did the same thing but it looked good so I started moving over a lane to get to the shoulder but as I did, a truck ran it over. Sad day

This was in the middle of the road... A fucking box with a perfectly good apple pie! Cousin and I were walking home from the school; notice a pink box tied with string in the middle of the lane. Cars were driving over it but never smashing it. Curiosity got to us so I ran out and grabbed the box. :smokin::smokin::smokin:

Like 5 years ago there was a case of budwiser in the road. People were swerving around it I stopped and so did one other guy, the box was full of empties.:lmao: the open side was out of view :homer:.

Thought about stopping, but not gonna in weekend traffic.
Have a picture of the shovel I found and was talking about earlier, the one with WTF 50 rolls of electrical tape on it

There are some work places that will pay you 3 hours of pay and benefits to use $17 worth of supplies to repair a $12 shovel so nobody has to do purchasing paperwork. True story.

And at the end of the day that behavior usually traces back to government incentives.

Sounds like you've worked at Hanford before. The on site repair shop (there are two of them, big shit and small shit) get upwards of $180 an hour last I knew. You think most bother taking a $150 weed eater to the shop for a new pull rope? Fuck no, they throw it away go buy another weed eater and if someone is caught taking anything out of the garbage can you'll get fired for stealing .gov property. :homer::laughing:
