What's new

Things you have found on the side of the road.

Almost found a concrete rake last night but the 2 cars in front of me found it first.

Fell off a truck about 100 yards ahead of me, bounced off the hood and/or fender of the newer SUV in front of me then cartwheeled into the other newer denali next to me, I swerved in the shoulder to miss it. The dudes truck it fell off of actually pulled over and the second SUV stopped with him. First dumb broad kept going. I know it had to fuck up her car pretty good.

I found a folded $5 bill on the threshold of my shop Friday morning.

I accused my buddy next door of screwing with me, but he denied it.

Either there's a pissed homeless guy, or I'm now in a contract with the Fae.

Me too. When we're out, my wife says "Hey look, the hook from the end of bungie cord! Wanna go back and get it?" and then laughs and laughs.

My friend found a bungee cord with 2 hooks on the way to see his friends dad in the hospital. Walked into the room and said very loudly “hey we found a double hooker on the way here!” I believe there was a nurse in the room as well😂

I've found a couple of pocket books last one I found had like 400 in cash plus id credit cards I contacted the lady and gave it back to her she was pulling onto the main road and I saw something fall off the roof of her car she kept going I stopped and picked it up in the middle of the road.another time I found a envelope laying on the sidewalk it looked like it had something in it $200. No name or id .

Monday. I had to fix the tape because it was all over the place. Who would throw this out…without the jacket and case?

Since last time? several bungee cords, several different ratchet straps and ends, a pop off roof type deal looks like it came from a sxs..
Tiny shitbox Mitsubishi makes it too easy to just stop and grab small stuff without even stepping out.

things I have found on the trail while wheeling.

2 coolers at the bottom of a big hill at SMORR, for the IBB run last month I found a fire extinguisher at the bottom of Rocky Road. One of the other guys in the group found a toolbox on the same hill. :smokin:

years ago found an 8' fiberglass step ladder on the shoulder of the road.
1/2" log chain about 15' long.

I recently found an aluminum drop hitch which has got to be 6+ inches. I don't have a use for it. It's solid aluminum but still looks cheap if that makes sense, also there's no markings so I also wouldn't want to sell it to someone who would actually use it. It will probably sit in my garage for 10 years.

My buddy found a garden rake in his tire. The Les Schwab guys were amused by the perfectly linear punctures and wanted to give him an award :lmao:

How much for the drop hitch? It'd look pimp on my DD when I finish the hitch. Never plan to tow anything with the truck but I bet it'd polish up nice in the spring when I polish everything else. :grinpimp:
