The unofficial "products you've bought that kick ass" thread

Not sure if they've been mentioned, but Knipex twingrip pliers.

They're slip joint with 5 spots (pushbutton). Very sharp teeth, and a v-groove that is parallel to the jaws for gripping things end-wise.

Easily my favorite pliers.

I'm baffled by how they are made though, as one half passes through the other half, but that's impossible because both ends are too big to pass through.

Bucket pump. Infinitely better than trying to hold up a 5 gallon pail on a step ladder trying to wait for it to flow through a funnel. It's a little slower than it could be but still faster than the funnel.

They're made with German space magic like all Knipex things. It's not for us to understand. Still love my twin grips, even more than my cobras.

Those look awesome and cheaper than the Olukai's I swear by. I may give those a try.
Olukais are way overprice. They are marketed towards stupid white people that think they are buying slippers that Hawaiian people wear. I’ve strictly worn Reef slippers for the last 20 plus years. I proudly support the Reef girls.

Not as much the product, but the customer service. A friend gave me his old Burris Fast Fire 2 pistol red dot. After mounting it and playing with it a bit, the power switch started acting up. Contacted Burris regarding their "Forever" warranty. Within a day I had a return shipping label. Sent it off, it arrived on a Thursday, Monday morning I received an email that my package was due to arrive here in 4 days. Package arrived here, opened it up, brand new Fast Fire 3 with all sorts of extra goodies. Needless to say, I will spend some money with them. Great service.

Gonna order some of those.

I have a few sets of these side cutters....once you use them, you'll throw all your others in the trash and buy more. They are simply the best.

The other best side cutter/flush cutter are these little things. Properly trimmed zip ties are what separates us from the animals.

I buy the 5 packs of Hakkos and everybody at work gets one.

I hate nonflush cut zipties that much.

Hakko CHP Micro Cutter, Clean Cut, 16 AWG (set of 5) Amazon.com

Mystery solved.

I'm surprised they can deform that much.

Badass little blower, we also use it to blow snow off the cars and light snow off the walkways . I had mine for over 5 years.

This stuff actually works like it says it does. Wash car, rinse car, spray on, rinse off, blow dry car. Best part about it is that it doesn't streak on glass and it makes black plastic look good instead of white and waxy. 5/5 do recommend

How long does it last?

How long does it last?
If I go a month between washes water will still bead up and the truck feels slippery. Reapplying takes all of 5 minutes so I always do it and haven't ever seen how long it'll last on it's own

Bought a Battery adapter off ebay to run my dozens of old Craftsman 19.2 v cordless tools off Milwaukee M18 batterys. Works great. Rotated 6 tires with my 1/2 inch Craftsman Impact, battery stayed in the fully charged zone. Adapter has a USB output too. I guess this is also showing how good M18 batteries are, the battery was just a 5.0 AH. I was thinking of getting a 12.0, not even sure I need one now.(But I'll probably get one anyway), and more M18 Fuel tools too, the 2 I've got so far kick ass and are fairly ingenious.

Kregs jig.

I have one.

Let me one up you, I just bought a JessEm doweling jig master kit. Far superior to pocket hole screws, but a joint will take about a minute longer that the jack leg Kreg jig.

Jizzim jig FTW!

I was wanting a Festool Domino, until I saw the price.

Then I saw this video and was happy I had purchased the JessEm.

Have been very happy with these boot laces. They are finally breaking in after 9 months or so and aren't sooo stiff. The aglets have no sign of coming apart.

I bought these apparently only 6mo ago and they already have one square knot in them. Not sure if it's worth the 5x increase in cost.

I think my next set is gonna be 300lb trolling line or some shit like that.

 Untie the knot?

Yes, the cost was hard to swallow for laces. But I have been happy with them hence the post. Will likely buy again.
