alright, well I bought back into COIN at $184.4 :laughing: it went all the way up to $192 or so and I made back my earlier loss plus a dollar!!!

set another 5% trailing stop....and it sold at $183 :rasta:

so, in summary:

bought $189.29
sold $183.52
bought $184.42
sold $183.3

total loss of $6.89....ah, so close
 
My dang CCL investment is in the red again.


On the flip side, I bought some Costco stock a while back at $528/share and it is up to $731 now. The problem is I only bought $4k worth. I am kicking myself for not going in balls deep on that stock years ago. We are members there, and have been going there for many years. Every time we go there, the parking lot is full and people are coming out in droves with carts full of shit. We rarely come out of there without spending $500. It should have been a no brainer to buy in big a long time ago.
 
Rivian is down to 15.44 and there supposed to be a new model coming out next month. I think Im going to buy in.

Well, coin is near $230 :laughing: oh well, I was too gun shy to jump back in

At least so far today I'm back to par overall with djia for ytd, still can't catch nasdaq
 
Alright, limiting my risk exposure as I'm nearing both my goals and my mandatory pay bills time.

Sold USB $37.50 call for 38% gain and WFC $40 call for 213% gain.

Account is tickling $11k value, 2 more weeks to see if I can break that or at least not lose $2k. That'd be nice.

Banking has been on an uptick this week, good news for a Monday.

Still down 10% on HFWA but all things considered, not a bad deal :rasta:
 
Logged in today, broke $11k account value.

Sold everything but USB, HFWA and TSLA, set 5% trailing loss for all those. 1 more week and I'll sell them at whatever unless they hit the stop.

:beer: thank you all for the motivation to play around, it's worked out well enough. Over the past 4 years.

Once this big bill is paid off, I'll probably just set up a monthly allotment to add money into this account and see what happens starting over. Not the greatest buying time ever like the last time, so let's see what happens

This is what frothy tops look like, it's hard to pick an exact date or pattern when it ends but I think it's within months. If I'm right we should get a pull back and another run up into summer. Sell in May they say ..

I hope so, give me an opportunity to buy back in.
 
I'm glad I didn't buy BA back after the door flew off when I first started watching it. Their problems continue to pile up. I'm going to keep watching it. I may swoop in and buy some at some point.

My 401k has rebounded like a champ over the past several months. I've been stuffing that thing full for years like a coke dealer stuffing his stash down the toilet when the cops are banging on the door.
 
I don’t even think I have my money that I put in the last 17 years. I made some terrible choices. I bought in LUV and still waiting on the rebound. I could have made 1500 the first hour but I got greedy and now down 11k.
